Marco Mei publishes playlist for 2021 Podcast 41.

Marco Mei of Bicycle Corporation has released the playlist for his upcoming show on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, connecting artists and audiences across Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka and beyond.

Originally from Italy, Marco Mei brings over thirty years of experience as a DJ and producer. His early influences were rooted in Afrobeat and synthesised music, which shaped his initial direction before he began DJing professionally in the early 1990s.

Over time, his career expanded to include performances at major festivals and clubs, sharing line-ups with artists such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg.

As his profile grew, he secured a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm el-Sheikh.

This period marked the beginning of his international touring, performing at venues including Woo Bar, Fuse in Brussels, Room 18 in Taipei, Bangaluu in Berlin, G-Star in Pattaya, SOS Supper Club in Bali and NLO in Minsk. Along the way, he performed alongside respected names such as Harry Romero, Justin Berkmann and Funk D’Void, further refining his approach as a DJ.

In 2009, he partnered with Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, to form Bicycle Corporation. The project combined their shared experience in DJing and production, leading to a catalogue of releases across house and techno.

Their debut came via 17:44, followed by releases on labels including Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, GrooveTraxx, Suka and Revox. Since then, the duo have produced more than fifty tracks and remixes spanning Deep House, Tech House, French House and Techno, establishing a consistent presence within the underground scene.

Now based in Taipei, Marco Mei continues to perform regularly across Asia, contributing to a network of artists connected through the region’s club culture. His weekly radio show reflects this breadth, featuring selections across Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica and Techno, maintaining a balanced approach between groove, melody and club-focused energy.

Podcast 41 opens with a melodic and atmospheric tone, as Whether the Weather in the Laurent Garnier remix sets a refined introduction before Moons and Melodica bring classic house and techno influences into the mix. The Maelstrom edit of Miura and M & M Theme adds a retro electronic feel, blending electro and early dancefloor aesthetics.

The set continues through What Time Is Love and the Radio Slave remix of Thinking About You, both maintaining a strong melodic direction. Nebula and the Frankey and Sandrino remix of You deepen the atmosphere, while The End Is The Beginning introduces a more progressive and cinematic structure.

Momentum builds with You Know What I Got and the John Summit remix of Whisper, shifting toward a more club-focused house groove. Tracking and Keep The Fire Burnin add rhythmic variety, while La La Land in the Stanley Kubrix remix and the edit of The Robots bring a blend of classic and modern electronic influences.

The closing stretch moves confidently through Confusion, Somebody, and Give Em What They Want, maintaining a steady house and tech house flow. Tomorrow’s World and Ready For Love keep the groove consistent before the Radio Slave remix of Break You and Moi Honey in the SRVD remix add depth. The final track Anasthasia in the Chris Liebing rework delivers a powerful techno finish, closing the episode with strong energy and classic rave influence.
