Paul van Dyk is set to return to Amsterdam Dance Event this October for a special open-to-close performance at Amsterdam venue Melkweg. Taking place inside the venue’s Rabozaal space on October 24th, the event marks the fifth consecutive ADE appearance for the electronic music pioneer at the iconic Dutch venue.

Widely recognised as one of the defining figures in global electronic music, Paul van Dyk has built a long-standing reputation through emotionally driven Trance, Progressive House and melodic electronic sets that balance underground club energy with cinematic atmosphere.

His extended open-to-close performances have become particularly respected for their ability to evolve naturally across an entire night, moving through deeper melodic moments into peak-time intensity while maintaining a strong narrative flow throughout.

Discussing the upcoming performance, Paul van Dyk commented:

“I’m incredibly excited to make my return to ADE this October at one of Amsterdam’s most iconic music venues. Each year, I feel a deeper connection to the city, the crowd, and the energy inside that room. It’s always an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to take listeners on a journey across the full spectrum of my music.”

The event will once again place Paul van Dyk in complete control of the night’s musical direction, offering audiences an extended journey through multiple sides of his sound. Attendees can also expect previews of forthcoming productions alongside unreleased material connected to the wider VANDIT Records label group.

Set against the backdrop of ADE, widely regarded as one of the world’s leading electronic music conferences and festival gatherings, the performance continues a long-running relationship between Paul van Dyk, Amsterdam’s electronic music community and the Melkweg venue itself.

Previous editions have consistently sold out, establishing the event as one of the notable Trance and Progressive-focused gatherings during ADE week.
