Marco Mei

Marco Mei is an Italian DJ with more than three decades of experience performing across the international electronic music scene. Influenced by the early sounds of Afrobeat rhythms and house music, he began his DJ career in 1991 and quickly developed a reputation for energetic performances and refined musical selection. Over the years, he has appeared at numerous clubs and events around the world, sharing the stage with artists including Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Justin Berkmann and Funk D Void.
As his profile expanded internationally, Marco secured a residency at the well-known Pacha Club in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. This period marked an important stage in his career, leading to performances at clubs across Europe, Asia and other regions. His international appearances include venues such as Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels, The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City, Vervo Club in Kunming, Pacha in Dresden, Cha Cha Moon in Koh Samui, NLO in Minsk, Time in Manila and Global Dance events in Russia.
In 2009, Marco joined forces with Italian producer Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, to form the duo project Bicycle Corporation. Combining their experience as DJs and producers, the collaboration quickly attracted attention within the house and techno scene. Their early releases led to a signing with the 17:44 Records group, and their productions soon appeared on labels including Piston Recordings, Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, GrooveTraxx, Suka and Revox.
Since its formation, Bicycle Corporation has built a catalogue of more than fifty tracks and remixes. Their productions explore a range of styles including deep house, tech house, French house and techno, combining dancefloor-focused rhythms with melodic structure and detailed arrangement. Their music has received support from a wide range of international DJs, including DJ Sneak, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Danny Tenaglia and Above and Beyond.
Marco Mei is currently based in Taipei, where he continues to play an active role in the region’s club culture. His DJ sets combine elements of European underground house and techno with a global perspective shaped by years of international touring. Through both his performances and collaborations, he remains closely connected to the electronica music communities across Asia and Europe.
He also established the event series Ciao Taipei, which became one of the notable underground house music gatherings in the city and helped connect local audiences with international artists. Alongside his touring schedule, he has held a residency at CE LA VI Taipei, continuing to bring his experience and musical vision to the dancefloor.
