MARCO MEI is an esteemed Italian DJ boasting over three decades of extensive global artist experience. Shaped by the early waves of Afro and House music, he embarked on his DJ career in 1991. Since then, he has graced the decks at numerous unforgettable events and venues, sharing the stage with luminaries such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Justin Berkmann, and Funk D Void, among others.

As his international reputation swiftly grew, Marco Mei secured a prestigious DJ residency at the renowned Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh. In the ensuing years, he embarked on a global journey, gracing countless clubs worldwide, including Woo Bar (Bali), The Mansion (Shanghai), Fuse (Brussels), The Observatory (Ho Chi Minh), Vervo Club (Kunming), Pacha (Dresden), Cha Cha Moon (Koh Samui), NLO (Minsk), Time (Manila), and Global Dance (Russia).

In 2009, Marco joined forces with Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, to launch the duo project "Bicycle Corporation". Their collaboration, fueled by their individual expertise as seasoned DJs, quickly gained traction. Drawing from their backgrounds in house and techno music, their distinctive productions garnered attention right from the outset. They swiftly secured a signing with the esteemed 17:44 records group, and their music found its way onto renowned labels such as Piston Recordings, Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, GrooveTraxx, Suka, and Revox.

 

To date, Bicycle Corporation has amassed a catalogue of over 50 tracks and remixes, spanning across genres from Deep and Tech-House to French House and Techno. Their productions have garnered significant support from an array of international DJs, including Sneak, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Danny Tenaglia, Above & Beyond, and many others.

 

Marco currently resides in Taipei, where he exerts a commanding presence in the local club scene, infusing European underground vibes into his sets. His renowned event "Ciao Taipei" emerged as the local revelation of 2013, catapulting him into an expanding network of esteemed artists across Southeast Asia.
