Marco Mei has made public his playlist for his show this Saturday the 20th of June 2020 from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and is re-airing Wednesday from 6 AM to 8 AM (ICT). Scientific Sound Asia radio is the English language electronic music station for India, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka and the rest of the region.
Marco is an Italian disc jockey and producer with over thirty years of experience. As a youngster, Marco became infatuated with Afrocentric music and the birth of electronic music and in the early 1990s' embarked on his career as a DJ.
In his formative years as a disc jockey he performed throughout Italy, his ongoing fortitude led to Marco honing his skills at a plethora of festivals and clubs globally. As a consequence, he has shared the turntables with legends such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg.
At the beginning of the millennium, he gained a residency in Sharm-El-Sheikh at Pacha Club and as a result of his fame set of touring the world at some amazing Nightclubs across the planet. These have included Observatory (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), CE' LA VI (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), Woobar (Bali), Global Dance Moscow and a great fortitude of others gracing the wheels of steel with legends.
In 2009 Marco formed a production duo with Stefano Ugliano (aka 6884) and Bicycle Corporation was born, their shared skills in the studio led to a multitude of releases and so far over 50 tracks and remixes exist on their portfolio and have been well received in the electronic community.
Marco currently resides in Taipei, Taiwan where he migrated at the beginning of the last decade and performs at events across the capital. Marco is a part of a great pool of DJs' and producers on our online radio station.
His weekly show features a regular pick of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. Marco is available for international bookings through our DJ Agency.
