Scientific Sound Asia has released the playlists for DJ Joshua's most recent radio programs, Floating Beats and Velvety Elements. As a leading electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency, Scientific Sound Asia plays a crucial part in influencing the electronic music scene in Asia. The station actively organizes events in Ho Chi Minh City and other locations, attracting a worldwide audience.

Originating from Évora, Portugal, DJ Joshua is a passionate supporter of electronic music. His extensive music library, which includes digital tracks, vinyl records, CDs, and cassettes, showcases his profound commitment to the genre.

Since the beginning of his career, DJ Joshua dedicated numerous hours to honing his DJ skills and selecting a diverse range of music genres, such as Techno, House, Drum and Bass, and Chillout. Even amidst the controversy surrounding rave music in Portugal in the 1990s, DJ Joshua stayed committed to his love for the genre.

Despite facing societal restrictions and criticism, he persisted in creating and sharing his music through unconventional means and in undisclosed venues. Collaborating closely with his team, DJ Joshua arranged House and Techno events at different clubs and bars, drawing a fan base that reached beyond his immediate community.

After becoming a father for the first time, DJ Joshua reduced his involvement in event planning and radio hosting to prioritize his responsibilities as a parent. Nevertheless, as his daughter matured, he felt motivated to reignite his passion for music.

This resurgence led to the creation of the Floating Beats podcast and radio show, a weekly programme that presents a diverse mix of electronic music genres. This hour includes music from renowned artists like Vince Watson, Steve Bug, and Harry Romero, offering a dynamic and immersive listening experience.

In the second hour, Velvety Elements, DJ Joshua delves into the soulful depth of Deep House music, exploring its emotional and profound qualities. This hour showcases tracks from artists such as Brandt Brauer Frick, Ruff Stuff, and Black Loops, providing a rich and captivating exploration of House music’s intricate layers.

DJ Joshua is recognized for his energetic performances spanning different styles and genres, which have garnered a dedicated following. His sets are characterized by smooth transitions, excellent song choices, and a profound grasp of the feelings and vibes unique to each genre.

DJ Joshua sees music as not only an art form but also a spiritual refuge that engages the senses and provides a profound experience for those who value its elegance. In January 2024, DJ Joshua broadened his creative endeavours by delving into music production and establishing JFLM Recordings, a platform committed to sharing his music.

DJ Joshua's creations are renowned for their profound emotional impact and steadfast dedication to electronic music. Make sure to tune in to his live radio program on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. Indochina Time (ICT).
