After Hours 739 on Scientific Sound Asia features PatriZe alongside guest DJ AKIN K. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.

PatriZe is a Belgian DJ and producer based in Thailand whose sound grew out of early Trance and Techno before settling into the melodic and progressive end of House Music. His sets are built around extended structures, gradual energy shifts and layered arrangement rather than peak-focused moments or sharp transitions.

A win at the Night Museum DJ Competition in France in 2010 marked an early career milestone, earning him an opening slot for Guy J and broadening his international profile. Work alongside Pole Folder and Guy J further sharpened his technical approach and sense of musical pacing.

In 2015, he co-founded AH Digital with Hypnotised, a label focused on underground Progressive House and melodic electronic music. The debut release Inhabitants of Another Realm broke into the Beatport Top 20, establishing the label’s footing in the scene from the outset.

Collaborative production with Hypnotised has been a consistent thread in his recent output. Their remix of Michael A’s Ignition on AH Digital appeared in early 2025, followed by multiple releases of their rework of Nikoow’s Weird Things on the same label across late 2025 and into 2026.

He performs regularly at venues including Beachspot, Thai Lounge and Terrace in Pattaya, maintaining an active presence in Thailand’s underground circuit alongside his international radio commitments. As host of After Hours, PatriZe has developed the show into a platform for considered track selection and extended Progressive House sets, with episode 739 featuring AKIN K in the guest hour.

AKIN K is a Progressive House DJ and producer whose music is built around deep grooves, hypnotic melodies and atmospheric detail. His work connects rhythm, emotion and melody through a sound shaped by deep, melodic and progressive electronic influences.

His sets focus on track selection, flow and controlled energy, balancing dancefloor movement with musical depth. In the studio, he applies a similar approach, producing Progressive House that links classic melodic structures with modern production techniques.

Recent releases show a strong run of activity across Progressive House labels. His 2026 work includes the AKIN K and Al Park remix of Electric by Sashy and NIQLA on Schallmauer, plus The Moment and Just a Dream with Paul Boychev on Protagonist Recordings.

Further collaborations with Al Park include Genesis on LW Recordings, Crystalline and Andromeda on Sunexplosion, and the AKIN K and Al Park remix of Intuition by Sashy and Tabrissel on AH Digital. Earlier tracks and remixes include Vortex, Changes, Fujairah and Grooveberries, placing his sound firmly within Progressive House.
