Terence C joins Bicycle Corporation as a guest DJ for episode 11 of Electronic Roots on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news outlet, connecting audiences across the region and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is the long-running collaboration between Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and classically trained musician Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Together, they combine experience in House, Techno and live musicianship, shaping a project built around rhythm, melody and underground club culture.
Marco Mei started DJing during the early years of Italy’s underground electronic movement. Through his involvement with the Urban People collective, he became part of a generation supporting independent House and Techno culture before expanding internationally through residencies and performances across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Stefano Ugliano developed his musical foundation through classical studies in piano, percussion and drums. Influenced by traditional composition and global rhythmic traditions, he later moved into electronic production, bringing a strong sense of arrangement and musical structure to Bicycle Corporation.
Together, Marco and Stefano have built a catalogue spanning House, Techno and deeper electronic styles while keeping a close connection to underground music culture. Alongside their productions and performances, Electronic Roots gives the duo a format to present varied electronic sounds and guest artists from Asia and beyond.
Episode 11 features Terence C in the guest slot, adding the perspective of a respected figure from Asia’s underground electronic music community. The edition brings Bicycle Corporation’s broad musical outlook together with a guest contribution rooted in regional club culture.

Guest DJ Terence C.
DJ Terence C joins Bicycle Corporation as the guest DJ for this edition of Electronic Roots on Scientific Sound Asia. Originally from Malaysia and now based in Shanghai, he has spent more than two decades building a respected profile across Asia’s underground electronic music scene.
Known for technical precision, considered programming and strong dancefloor awareness, Terence C has become one of the region’s established House and Techno selectors. His work in Kuala Lumpur helped shape the city’s underground club culture through long-running residencies, regular appearances and consistent support for quality electronic music.
Across his career, Terence has shared line-ups with internationally recognised artists including David Morales, Fatboy Slim and Pete Tong. His appearances alongside John Digweed, including performances connected with Zouk Club Kuala Lumpur, further strengthened his standing within Southeast Asia’s Progressive House and Techno communities.
Terence began DJing professionally in 1998 under the guidance of DJ Chris Doss. Early performances at venues such as Cubeat and Globar led to further bookings at Movement, Backroom, Nouvo and Atmosphere, with international appearances later taking him to Lush in Singapore and Liquid in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2005, Terence co-founded Altered Image with Callen Tham and Digital. The multimedia project combined electronic music, turntablism and visual performance, later gaining wider recognition after winning the Malaysian edition of the Heineken Thirst competition before touring across Southeast Asia.
Before the pandemic, he also co-founded We Love Techno with DJ XU. The event series focused on harder club sounds linked to labels such as Drumcode and Cocoon, becoming a recognised fixture within Kuala Lumpur’s Techno scene.
In recent years, Terence has developed a hybrid performance style that combines traditional DJ techniques with Ableton Live integration. His Movement Control mix series presents this approach through detailed track selection, technical control and a contemporary view of House and Techno performance.
Alongside his DJ work, Terence is active in the studio and has kept a regular presence through radio appearances and international guest mixes. Updates, mixes and event information can be found through his Resident Advisor profile, Instagram and Facebook page.
Bicycle Corporation Electronic Roots episode 11 features Terence C with a set built around melodic electronic club music and deeper Techno structures. Hosini’s Balloons opens with Deep House warmth before Ivory’s Santiago Garcia remix of Let the Mystery Be moves the programme into Melodic House and Techno.
Claude VonStroke and Wyatt Marshall’s Youngblood keeps the melodic direction intact, drawing on Dirtybird’s deeper side rather than its more playful club material. Avangart Tabldot’s Distance and Skatman’s Plexiglas add a more introspective tone, with Sum Over Histories’ closed-eye dancefloor identity fitting the middle of the opening section.
Kookmode’s Good Move follows with Monaberry’s melodic club character, before Benjamin Frohlich’s Escape receives a Perel remix that shifts into Indie Dance. Samer Soltan’s Woods is reconstructed by Skatman into another melodic section, leading into Max Cooper’s Rob Clouth remix of Transcendental Tree Map and its more conceptual Electronica structure.
Massimiliano Pagliara’s Villaggio Paradiso (On Acid) brings the mix back to Deep House, using the Live At Robert Johnson catalogue’s house-centred identity as a clear reference point. Quenum’s Step by Step moves into a lean Minimal / Deep Tech space before Angelos and Da Mike introduce an Afro House turn through Corvo.
Super Flu and Angelov’s Diva Halle returns the set to Melodic House and Techno, with the Monaberry pairing adding a more animated club tone. James Harcourt’s Deliverance then introduces Progressive House before Hannes Bieger’s Black Tourmaline brings the programme back to Bedrock’s melodic framework.
Max Cooper’s Repetition receives a Josh Wink interpretation that keeps the Mesh material close to Melodic House and Techno while adding a more insistent late-set rhythm. Felix Da Housecat and Nez then move into Techno through Radio Slave’s remix of Lift Off, followed by Monika Kruse’s Blue Elephant.
Township Rebellion’s Chaos adds a dystopian melodic edge, sitting within Stil vor Talent’s wider house and techno catalogue. Harvey McKay’s Dirt Box raises the pressure through peak-time Techno before Sailor & I’s Thinking About You receives a housier Thomas Gandey remix.
Nick Muir, John Digweed and The Pressure close the episode with Counting Down The Days, returning the final section to Progressive House.
Terence C’s selection moves from Deep House and melodic material into Techno pressure, before ending with a progressive finish that ties the set back to Electronic Roots’ wider sound.
