Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns this Saturday on Scientific Sound Asia, hosted by DJ Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz. This week’s broadcast opens with Nocturne before handing over to guest DJ Amusic for the second hour.

Originally from Los Angeles, Nocturne began his DJ career in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz, performing across reggaeton, hip hop and a wide range of Latin styles including bachata, merengue, salsa and cumbia. His versatility and instinctive ability to read the dancefloor quickly earned him recognition throughout the Southern California club circuit.

In 2013, his move into electronic music marked a turning point. He co-founded Digital Audio Kingz alongside DJ MORE and became a regular presence on FM radio. By 2018, he adopted the Nocturne alias and launched Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a house and dance-focused programme that has since grown into a globally syndicated show through the CHNR Syndication Network.

Now based in San Diego while remaining closely connected to Los Angeles, Nocturne continues to expand his sound through projects such as On the Deep End, which explores deeper progressive and melodic directions, alongside Deep House Sessions under the DAK Music banner. His approach remains rooted in groove, emotion and the unifying spirit at the heart of house music culture.

Taking control of the second hour, Amusic represents the Bronx, New York, delivering a groove-driven house selection shaped by modern tech house energy and Afro-influenced rhythms. Known for his tight mixing and dancefloor-focused flow, Amusic’s sets prioritise momentum and feel, drawing on New York’s club heritage while keeping a forward-looking edge.

With Nocturne setting the pace in the opening hour and Amusic guiding the journey home, this week’s edition of Cali’s HouseNation Radio delivers a smooth and engaging progression through contemporary house music on Scientific Sound Asia.

Amusic is a Bronx-based DJ representing the new wave of New York house culture, with a sound rooted in groove, rhythm and dancefloor energy. Active across radio and live DJ platforms, he has been steadily building recognition through guest mixes and syndicated broadcasts rather than commercial hype.

Hailing from the Bronx, New York City, Amusic draws influence from the raw, percussive edge of modern house and tech house, while maintaining a strong connection to Afro House and groove-led club sounds. His selections focus on flow and momentum, favouring infectious rhythms and driving low-end over excessive breakdowns.

Amusic has featured on internationally syndicated radio platforms, including CHNR Beyond and Cali’s HouseNation Radio, where his guest mixes showcase his ability to balance underground house sensibility with accessible club energy. His appearances have positioned him as a DJ to watch within the wider CHNR and Scientific Sound Asia network.

Rather than chasing releases, Amusic remains focused on the craft of DJing, using radio and curated mixes as his primary creative outlet. His sets reflect the influence of New York’s club culture, built for movement, late-night floors and community-driven house music spaces.

Representing the Bronx on a global broadcast platform, Amusic continues to develop his sound through guest appearances, radio showcases and carefully curated mixes that emphasise groove, consistency and dancefloor connection.

The first hour, curated by Nocturne, opens with a deep and groove-led run of Deep House that establishes a smooth, late-night atmosphere. Tracks like Who’s Piano Is This? and By The Cover lean into classic house sensibilities, while steady basslines and restrained percussion keep the flow hypnotic and controlled. The pacing remains patient, allowing each groove to settle naturally.

As the hour develops, the selection shifts toward House with a more vocal and club-ready character. Knockout and Try My Love introduce familiar house energy, while tracks such as Red Light Nights and Cure My Desire lift the mood without breaking the deep foundation. The closing stretch tightens with Tech House selections, adding bounce and rhythmic punch before handing over to the second hour.

DJ Amusic takes control with a decisive move into Tech House, immediately raising the energy with tightly programmed drums and rolling basslines. The influence of Latin Tech becomes more prominent through tracks like Apágale El Fuego and Kalentura, injecting percussive heat and dancefloor urgency while keeping the groove front and centre.

The final stretch leans heavily into peak-time Tech House with touches of Minimal and Deep Tech, adding subtle variation. Tracks such as It’s The Sound and Gostosa introduce stripped-back textures, before the episode closes with a sustained run of high-energy club tools. Episode 301 finishes as a clear two-part journey, moving from deep and soulful foundations into full-bodied, late-night club pressure.

Join the live broadcast of the show on Saturday, January 10th 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you miss the live airing, you can tune in again on Wednesday from 4 AM to 6 AM (ICT).
