Together with long-time collaborator PatriZe, Hypnotised has played a central role in developing After Hours into a recognised platform for Progressive House and Melodic House & Techno. The programme now reaches listeners worldwide through radio broadcasts on TM Radio in the United States, XBeat throughout Europe, Cosmos Radio in Germany and Scientific Sound Asia.

His commitment to the genre extends beyond After Hours. Alongside PatriZe, he curates AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio and presents Energetic on Progressive Beats Radio, helping introduce new music and emerging artists to progressive house audiences across multiple platforms.

As co-founder and label manager of AH Digital, Hypnotised continues supporting both established and developing producers while helping shape the label's evolving identity. AH Digital has built a reputation for melodic, atmospheric and progressive releases that place equal emphasis on musicality and dancefloor functionality.

Recent productions continue to highlight his refined approach to progressive music. His remix of Weird Things alongside PatriZe on AH Digital combines subtle tension, flowing melodies and measured energy, while his reinterpretation of Blissing on SINCITY and Classico with Selected Grooves on OLD SQL Recordings showcase his attention to arrangement, pacing and atmosphere.

This week on After Hours, we welcome Colombian DJ and producer Morris Tellez as our special guest. At the end of June, Morris will also make his debut on AH Digital with a forthcoming remix release, further strengthening his connection with the label and its growing roster of progressive house artists.

Based in Bogotá, Colombia, Morris Tellez developed his technical foundation through studies at the renowned Dubspot Electronic Music Production and DJ School in New York. There, he refined his skills in DJing, music production, mixing and mastering, focusing on the electronic music styles that would later define his sound.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as John Digweed, Hernán Cattáneo, Sasha, Dinka, Jaytech, Leventina, Jay Lumen and Chris Liebing, Morris has crafted a style that blends Progressive House, Organic House and Techno. His productions combine deep atmospheres, melodic textures and hypnotic basslines with carefully structured energy, creating music that balances emotional depth with dancefloor functionality.

His breakthrough came with the release of Mandrill on New York-based label Hydrogen, which entered Beatport's Top 100 Progressive House chart shortly after release. This was followed by releases on respected labels including Iconyc, where Locus gained support, and Totum Records, which released his Cobra EP featuring Cobra, Cayman and Vulture.

Alongside his studio work, Morris has remained active within Colombia's electronic music community through performances and collaborations with collectives such as The Lab Sessions. These experiences have helped establish him as a respected figure within Bogotá's progressive underground scene while continuing to expand his international profile.

Recent releases highlight the continued evolution of his sound. Tracks such as Kryptos on South America Avenue, Dreaming of You on Superordinate Music and his remix of Another Way for Serge Gee and Mig Camacho showcase his refined Progressive House approach.

Collaborations with Coss Bocanegra, including Rhytmic Horizons, In The Beach and In The Club, further demonstrate his ability to blend Organic House influences with melodic progressive structures. Releases such as Colors and his remix of Somos Como Una Flor reinforce his reputation for producing atmospheric and emotionally driven club music.

DJ Hypnotised begins the first hour with Hassan Tariq Khan and Rabiee Ahmad’s Wolf Story in the Paul Hamilton remix, immediately establishing a deep Progressive House atmosphere. Cary Crank’s Inner Atlas and Erich LH’s Welcome Back in the Mindlanholic Progressive remix continue the flowing underground direction, combining melodic textures with rolling rhythmic progression.
