Belarusian DJ and producer Mona Chrome returns through Unheard Music, the label she co-founded alongside Far&High and pizzaaftersex, with Lost In The Ocean, a new release arriving on 26th June featuring remixes from Pan-Pot and Plastic Robots.

Speaking about the release, Mona Chrome described Lost In The Ocean as one of her most personal productions to date. She explained that the track emerged from a desire to express feelings of emotional isolation and vulnerability, with the vocal arrangement serving as the emotional centre of the composition.

"I wanted to capture that fragile feeling of being completely overwhelmed by your own emotions, like being isolated in the middle of a vast, deep sea," she said. "The vocal arrangement is the emotional heart of the track, and I'm incredibly proud of how Pan-Pot and Plastic Robots brought their own unique energy to the remixes."

Built around atmospheric textures, evolving melodies and an emotive vocal arrangement, the record balances introspective listening with club functionality. The release also reinforces Unheard Music's commitment to artist-led electronic music and creative independence.

Mona Chrome has spent years cultivating a sound that combines melodic Techno, Indie Dance and analogue influences while maintaining a philosophy rooted in authenticity. Through her #youcantfakeit movement and more than 300 performances worldwide, she has developed a reputation for musical storytelling and depth, earning support from artists including Solomun and Pan-Pot.

Her productions have accumulated over one million YouTube views, while releases such as Lymonade on Sincopat helped establish her presence on the international scene. After exploring Organic House and Afro House in recent years, Lost In The Ocean marks another chapter in her return towards more atmospheric Techno territory.

German techno duo Pan-Pot bring a driving reinterpretation to Mona Chrome's Lost In The Ocean on Unheard Music.

Pan Pot

German duo Pan-Pot provide one of the headline reinterpretations on the release. Formed by Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix, the Berlin-based pair have spent two decades shaping modern Techno through influential releases, their Second State imprint and appearances at festivals including Time Warp, Awakenings, Tomorrowland and Glastonbury.

Their remix transforms the original into a more powerful club-focused experience while preserving the melodic framework at its core. Characterised by energy and precision, the reinterpretation reflects the approach that has made Pan-Pot one of the most respected names in contemporary Techno.

Brazilian duo Plastic Robots contribute a groove-driven remix to Mona Chrome's Lost In The Ocean release on Unheard Music.

Plastic Robots

Brazilian duo Plastic Robots deliver a contrasting perspective. Formed by Nando Scheffer and Daniel Queiroz, the project has built an international reputation through releases on labels including Dirtybird, Mau5trap and Sink Or Swim, while maintaining an unmistakable alternative edge.

Known for energetic performances and unexpected production choices, Plastic Robots introduce a groove-led rework that brings a different atmosphere to the release. Their contribution complements the intensity of the Pan-Pot remix while adding another dimension to the package.

Through Lost In The Ocean, Mona Chrome reinforces the ethos that has defined both her music and Unheard Music since the label's launch in 2025. Blending emotional expression with dancefloor sensibilities, the release demonstrates the continuing evolution of an artist committed to creative freedom rather than formulas.

By bringing together artists from Belarus, Germany and Brazil, the package highlights the international nature of contemporary electronic music. With Pan-Pot and Plastic Robots offering contrasting interpretations, Lost In The Ocean presents three distinct perspectives united by atmosphere, rhythm and individuality.
