Marco Mei has published his playlist for his upcoming show this Saturday the 10th of August from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and repeating Sunday from 2 to 4 PM (ICT). Scientific Sound Asia is the underground electronic music station for Taiwan, Vietnam Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and the rest of Asia.
Marco Mei is an Italian Disc Jockey and producer with over twenty-five years of expertise.
He spent his early years learning about music with the birth of afrobeat and electronic music.
He started his life as a DJ in the first few years of the '90s and has in the years that transgressed performed as a DJ at some of the most amazing festivals and nightclubs' on the planet sharing the decks with Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Justin Berkmann and many more.
As his resume grew he started a residency at the renowned Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh. His residency at Pacha led to him jetting around the globe as a DJ at a plethora of underground nightclubs including Arcan (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), Room 18 (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), SOS Supper Club (Bali) and NLO (Minsk).
In 2009 Marco started a musical duo with Stefano Ugliano (aka 6884) and “Bicycle Corporation” was born. Their fortitude of skills as DJs and solo producers gave them a headstart.
With many years of experience in house and techno music, their releases got attention from the offset. They were then signed as part of the 17:44 record label and many tracks were also released on a variety of record labels such as Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, GrooveTraxx, Suka, and Revox.
Over the years that followed they put out more than fifty tracks and remixes, across many subgenres from Deep and Tech-House to French House and Techno. Most of their tracks have been graced with plays by the following world-renowned DJs, Sneak, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Axwell, Danny Tenaglia, Above & Beyond, and many others.
Marco is currently based in Taiwan where he demonstrates his love of his art with prowess, his initial success with “Ciao Taipei”, was the local revelation of 2013. This has allowed him to become part of an ever-growing network of world-renowned artists on Scientific Sound Asia radio.
His weekly show features a broad selection of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for further bookings through our DJ Agency.
