DJ Marco Mei from Bicycle Corporation is back with another episode of his radio show on Scientific Sound Asia. This platform functions as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, and promoter, in addition to sharing music news and linking audiences both regionally and globally.

Having spent over thirty years as a DJ, Marco Mei has crafted a sound that is deeply rooted in Afro-inspired rhythms, deep house grooves, and vibrant club energy. His technique demonstrates a profound grasp of dancefloor dynamics, honed through extensive international experience and a meticulously curated selection style that seamlessly transitions between underground house and techno influences.

Marco embarked on his musical journey in the early 1990s in Turin, Italy, where he delved into the city's underground electronic scene. As part of the Urban People collective, he played a role in organising independent events that were instrumental in the growth of Italy's early house and techno movement. These foundational experiences shaped his technical style and his natural rapport with club audiences.

A pivotal phase in his career occurred during his residency at Pacha in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. This experience broadened his international presence and led to performances at venues such as Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels, and The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City. Engaging with various club cultures and audiences contributed to the development of his versatile and globally influenced sound.

In 2009, Marco teamed up with Italian producer Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, to create Bicycle Corporation. The duo has released over fifty productions and remixes in genres such as Deep House, Tech House, French House, and Techno on labels like Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, Suka, and GrooveTraxx. Their collaboration combines Marco’s dancefloor-oriented approach with Stefano’s structured musical expertise and attention to production detail.

The Bicycle Corporation catalogue blends melodic richness with groove-driven arrangements and a practical club framework, consistently upholding an underground identity while exploring a diverse range of electronic styles. Their productions strike a balance between musicality and dancefloor energy, solidifying the project's reputation within underground house and techno communities.

In addition to their studio projects, Marco and Stefano are continuously exploring new creative avenues through remixes, collaborations, and electronic music radio shows. Their work stays rooted in underground culture while evolving with contemporary club music and modern production techniques.

Currently residing in Taipei, Marco Mei stays closely linked to Asia's underground electronic music scene. His weekly radio shows on Scientific Sound Asia feature meticulously selected sets that merge classic underground elements with modern club sounds. Every broadcast showcases his decades of experience, musical adaptability, and unwavering dedication to the culture of underground electronic music.

Marco Mei 2026 episode 19 opens with AMP Fiddler, Moodymann and Dames Brown with Take Me As I Am in the Moodymann Extended remix, immediately establishing a soulful House atmosphere. DJ Aakmael continues the deeper groove through I Didn’t Know, while Starr Traxx and Allen bring classic House rhythms into the mix with Off Limits and My Deep.
