Graham Gold returns with a fresh edition of Esta La Musica on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, while also publishing music news and connecting underground electronic music audiences across Asia and internationally.

With more than forty years immersed in club culture and electronic music broadcasting, DJ Graham Gold continues to maintain a strong presence within underground dance music. From his early years on London pirate radio and Capital FM through to his influential period at Kiss 100, his career reflects a long-standing dedication to progressive electronic sounds and global club culture.

His time at Kiss 100 helped shape the direction of progressive house and trance radio throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, while the iconic Peach club nights placed him among the leading figures within London’s underground scene.

Peach remains closely associated with the melodic and progressive sounds of that era. With reunion events in London and Ibiza continuing to attract both longtime followers and newer audiences discovering the brand’s legacy.

Before becoming internationally recognised, Graham developed his reputation through years spent within London nightlife, including a major residency at Gulliver’s Club in Mayfair alongside extensive work across pirate radio. Exposure to soul, disco, reggae, jazz-funk and early electronic music during this period helped shape the broad musical identity that continues defining his sets and productions today.

Now living in Thailand, Graham remains active throughout Southeast Asia’s electronic music scene with appearances across Koh Phangan, Phuket, Pattaya and Koh Samui. From beach gatherings and underground club nights to festival performances, he continues to maintain a strong connection with regional dance music culture while reaching audiences internationally through radio and streaming platforms.

At this stage in his production career, Graham’s studio work strongly reflects his shift towards melodic and progressive underground club music. The Lost City on Patent Skillz continues gaining attention through its combination of rolling basslines, layered synth textures and melodic house structures. The accompanying Tomy Wahl and DJ Lion & Just Julien remixes expand the release into darker and more groove-led territory while retaining the emotional core of the original version.

His releases on Ballroom Records, including Uncanny Parallels, Postponed and Manipulation with Jourdan Bordes, further reinforce this direction through hypnotic melodic arrangements, progressive pacing and refined club-focused production. These tracks reflect a continued interest in deeper underground sounds while maintaining strong melodic identity and dancefloor functionality.

Alongside his melodic house and techno productions, Graham continues to preserve his connection to uplifting trance through releases such as Glorified, Living In The Now and the Manuel Le Saux remix of Moving On. These productions combine euphoric trance influences with more contemporary production techniques, highlighting the wide musical spectrum that continues shaping his work.

Through Esta La Musica, Graham Gold continues delivering carefully selected journeys across Deep House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Tech House and Trance. Each edition reflects both his extensive musical history and his ongoing commitment to underground electronic music culture in its modern form.

Grahm Gold's first selection, Joyce (ARG), opens the session with Bahamas Soul, immediately establishing a groove-led Tech House atmosphere before Lost Voice moves the mix toward melodic territory through Sunset. Guy Mantzur and Khen continue the flowing progression with Where Is Home in the Matthias Meyer remix, blending warm melodic textures with deeper underground rhythms.

Minstrel’s Sibularis in the Ege Saglam remix introduces a Progressive House direction, while James Trystan, alongside Greg Ignatovich and Alexandros Djkevingr, maintain the atmospheric flow through All Alone in the Miss Monique remix. These selections give the early section a cinematic and melodic character.

The middle portion shifts toward classic underground House through Butch’s Testarossa, before KM03 strips the groove back with the Minimal and Deep Tech rhythms of Down. Supernova restores warmth through the Deep House flow of Our Paradise, maintaining a smooth late-night atmosphere.

Jay Caesar’s Poison and Mattias Coll’s Please continue the deeper Minimal direction with tighter percussion and rolling basslines. Kerri Chandler’s Bar A Thym in the Supernova Dub remix then brings classic House influences back into the mix with soulful groove-driven energy.

The final section develops through Josh Butler and Dennis Cruz’s Ahora Toda Va in the Gorgon City remix, where Melodic House and Techno and deeper rhythms combine effectively. Jamie Jones and Ricky Ahmed close the session with More Energy, ending the episode with a warm House groove rooted firmly in underground dancefloor culture.
