After Hours 737 on Scientific Sound Asia features PatriZe alongside guest DJ Virginia Wen. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.

PatriZe is a Belgian DJ and producer based in Thailand whose sound grew out of early Trance and Techno before settling into the melodic and progressive end of House music. His sets are built around extended structures, gradual energy shifts and layered arrangement rather than peak-focused moments or sharp transitions.

A win at the Night Museum DJ Competition in France in 2010 marked an early career milestone, earning him an opening slot for Guy J and broadening his international profile. Work alongside Pole Folder and Guy J further sharpened his technical approach and sense of musical pacing.

In 2015, he co-founded AH Digital with Hypnotised, a label focused on underground Progressive House and melodic electronic music. The debut release Inhabitants of Another Realm broke into the Beatport Top 20, establishing the label’s footing in the scene from the outset.

Collaborative production with Hypnotised has been a consistent thread in his recent output. Their remix of Michael A’s Ignition on AH Digital appeared in early 2025, followed by multiple releases of their rework of Nikoow’s Weird Things on the same label across late 2025 and into 2026.

He performs regularly at events at venues including Beachspot, Thai Lounge and Terrace in Pattaya, maintaining an active presence in Thailand’s underground circuit alongside his international radio commitments. As host of After Hours, PatriZe has developed the show into a platform for considered track selection and extended Progressive House sets, with episode 733 featuring Lean Agüero in the guest hour.

Guest DJ Virginia Wen.

Virginia Wen is an electronic music DJ and producer from Argentina, currently focused on Progressive House. Her sound is shaped by hypnotic grooves, deep atmospheres and an emotional approach to both DJ sets and studio productions.

For Virginia, electronic music is more than dancefloor material. Her work treats sound as an emotional experience, using rhythm, depth and atmosphere to create a direct connection with listeners.

Her direction is influenced by the introspective, groove-led and rhythmic side of Progressive House. Through tension, movement and harmonic progression, she builds music that carries feeling while retaining a strong club structure.

Each DJ set and production forms part of an ongoing search for identity and connection. That balance between energy and emotion gives her work an authentic character within contemporary Progressive House.

Her recent release Losing My Mind appeared on AH Digital Compilations as part of Elevate 13. The track places her within a wider international Progressive House network while highlighting her focus on deep atmosphere, controlled rhythm and melodic detail.

AAfter Hours episode 737 features PatriZe in the first hour and Virginia Wen in the second hour on Scientific Sound Asia. The episode is focused entirely on Progressive House, with selections from AH Digital, Mango Alley, Balkan Connection, Protagonist Recordings, WARPP, Plattenbank and Meanwhile.

PatriZe opens the first hour with Aphra’s Oracle in the Cosmic Ocean remix on AH Digital, setting the melodic direction for the show. Trancesetters follow with Roaches in the Sinan Arsan edit, before Savrun Brothers add Angelus through COMET Records.

Juan Arcucci’s A Flower In The Desert appears in the O-Band remix, bringing the set back to AH Digital before davalis follows with Rocking Chair. Michael A then adds Distraction on Protagonist Recordings, keeping the opening hour in a steady Progressive House frame.

D-Mice and Mind Echoes continue the first hour with Underworld and Ana, adding material from WARPP and Transensations Records. Shayan Pasha and Juan Buitrago follow with Hollow in the Luciano Scheffer remix, before NIQLA closes PatriZe’s hour with Rise.

Virginia Wen begins the second hour with Kebin van Reeken’s Sax Talk, returning to Protagonist Recordings with a direct Progressive House entry. Hobin Rude follows with Then And Now, before Das Pharaoh and The Wash add Fragments in The Wash "Temperament" remix on Mango Alley.

Luca Abayan’s Bend brings Balkan Connection South America into the guest mix, followed by Hot Tuneik and Sir Real with Dancing This Night on Mango Alley. Agustin Pengov then continues the Balkan Connection link with Trumpert, keeping the second hour tightly centred on Progressive House.

Virginia Wen’s own Losing My Mind appears through AH Digital Compilations, adding a personal production point to the guest hour. Chelakhov’s Embrace The Darkness in the Cami'L remix then returns the mix to AH Digital before Julian Nates and Emphi close the episode with Shifting Currents and Walk With Me.
