El Brujo has announced the guest DJ The Rhythm-Fixxer for 'The Wild Bunch' episode 31. Scientific Sound Asia is the expatriate and local underground electronic music station for Japan, India, China, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, the Philippines and the rest of the globe.
El Brujo (first hour) real name, Robert Milanesi was born and raised in Italy in 1964. From a very young age, he became something of a music addict with a taste for many different genres.
Still, it was those hypnotic beats of electronic music that quickly became a firm favourite of his. As he came of age, his undying love for music grew with him and it soon became clear to himself and all those around him that this was to be his life.
The young Robert worked tirelessly on his musical endeavours. Making it his mission to bring something new and groundbreaking to audiences across Italy and then one day the world.
Always pushing the boundaries and tenaciously striving to reach new heights, Robert's determination brings those electronic sounds onto the Italian music scene and proved unwavering in the eyes of the naysayers. By the mid-90s, Robert's dreams were now finally becoming reality.
When after such hard work, dedication and of course his own creative talent, Robert had become well known as one of the founding fathers of the underground rave scene in Bologna, Italy. His first official release came in 2008 with its title, ‘Warriors’ on the Milan label, Open Legs. Jambalay Records, his label was launched at their opening party in n Ibiza, Spain in 2010.
The label and El Brujo then burst onto the worldwide scene with legendary Maya Jane Coles first charting his track, Mozambique in collaboration with Big Mojo, on his first CD release ‘Nutty Fellas Are Go.’ Then in January 2019, his release, ‘Plastic Dreams ’on Frame Worxx ranked number #33 in the Beatport Hard Techno Top 100.
El Brujo has released on labels such as Elektrax, Frame Workxx, Lw Recordings, Subwoofer and many others. In May 2022 he was charted by DJ Rush and his track '' Shit Happens '' reached position number 10 in the Beatport top 100 for Jackin House.
His unique sound and creations are interstellar in his ‘Raw’ approach to the many different genres he conceives in his own musical innovation. Every month El Brujo will be giving us a guest DJ from his 'Wild Bunch' of Techno producers and artists.
Guest DJ (second hour) The Rhythm-Fixxer.
This week's guest DJ (second hour) is The Rhythm-Fixxer, Jonathan Dalle a.k.a. The Rhythm Fixer Is a Belgian DJ and producer residing on the coast in Ostend. In his early teens, in the mid-nineties, his fascination with electronic music became a staple of his personality.
His early groundings at the time were Hardcore and Techno and his journey as a raver led him to become interested in performing as a DJ and in production. He has performed and produced across the electronic music spectrum and has a fair number of releases across a broad range of labels.
As a performer, he prefers to entice the crowd with heavy pounding beats, energetic synths, percussions, smashing snares, sharp rides and hit hats. He performs at a good number of events around his home country and across the region.
Over the years his releases have been channelled into the rave scene across labels such as Subwoofer, Nacht, Frameworxx and Jambalay Records. He also has a good number of residencies on radio stations in Europe and globally as another outlet for his passion.
