As an active member of both the Mixtape Addict DJ Coalition and the DJ League, he maintains strong ties to the global hip-hop community. His Flamin’ Hip-Hop episodes are available on Djpod, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and Audiomack, where his audience continues to grow with each release.

Through every edition, DJ Phoenixx develops his distinctive sound, explores fresh creative directions, and celebrates the worldwide energy of urban music, affirming his place as a respected figure in the international mixtape movement.

Flamin’ Hip Hop Episode 24 kicks off with energy as DJ Phoenixx blends Southern club heat like Push Up Boys’ Whole Club Rockin and Project Pat’s Good Googly Moogly with Boom Bap grit from DJ King Flow’s All Good Til Its All Bad. The contrast between raw underground flows and party-ready beats sets the tone for a dynamic session.

The mix then shifts into iconic hits, with Nelly’s Country Grammar and Monica’s Everytime Tha Beat Drop riding alongside Dr. Dre’s Xplosive and Young Jeezy’s Soul Survivor. East and West Coast flavours intertwine with club-ready hooks, creating a perfect mid-2000s snapshot of mainstream and underground colliding.

As the show develops, East Coast grit dominates with Juelz Santana’s Mic Check, Obie Trice’s Snitch, and Cassidy’s I’m A Hustla, each backed by powerful production and strong lyrical themes. Snoop Dogg’s G’s & Hustlaz and Teairra Mari’s collaboration with Kanye West balance the energy, pulling the set into smoother R&B territory before hitting hard again with 50 Cent and Mobb Deep’s Outta Control.

The final stretch keeps the intensity high, with Lil’ Kim, Xzibit, E-40, Drag-On, and Ice Cube reminding listeners of the uncompromising energy of 2000s hip hop. DJ Quik closes the set with funk-driven precision, ensuring Episode 24 finishes on a West Coast high, tying together the balance of East, West, Southern, and R&B influences into one complete session.

Don't miss the live stream on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, from 10 PM to 12 AM Indochina Time (ICT). If you can't listen live, the replay will be available on Sunday from 10 AM to 12 PM (ICT).
