Marco Mei, the veteran Italian DJ and producer behind Bicycle Corporation, returns with another instalment of his acclaimed radio show on Scientific Sound Asia. The station, broadcasting across Asia and globally, continues to champion underground electronic and urban music while supporting DJs, producers, and listeners through its radio platform, live events, and DJ agency.

With more than thirty years of experience on the international circuit, Marco has built a reputation for dynamic, genre-spanning sets that blend Afro-inspired rhythms with house grooves and club-focused electronics. His encyclopaedic knowledge of music and energetic performances have earned him loyal followings on dancefloors around the world.

His journey began in the early 1990s in Turin, Italy, where he immersed himself in the city’s underground culture. Spending countless hours in record shops and clubs, he developed a passion for house, techno, and Afrobeat, which led him to co-found Urban People, a collective that became an important part of Italy’s early electronic movement.

A turning point came with his residency at Pacha in Sharm el-Sheikh, which paved the way for appearances at internationally renowned venues such as Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels, and The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2009, Marco joined forces with fellow Italian producer Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, to form Bicycle Corporation. Together, they have released more than fifty tracks and remixes across genres, including Deep House, Tech House, French House, and Techno, earning support from respected labels such as Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, Suka, and GrooveTraxx.

Since moving to Taipei in 2010, Marco has established himself as a central figure in Taiwan’s underground music scene. His sets reflect a global sensibility, weaving together diverse influences while staying true to the essence of club culture.

As host of his long-running show on Scientific Sound Asia, Marco continues to deliver episodes that embody the same energy and depth as his live performances. Each broadcast highlights his enduring commitment to underground sounds and his talent for building connections with audiences worldwide.

With decades of experience, a global outlook, and an unwavering love of music, Marco Mei remains an influential figure in house and techno, shaping the scene through his solo projects, Bicycle Corporation releases, and ongoing radio presence.

DJ Marco Mei begins episode 29 begins with HoneyLuv & Muni Long’s Made For Me in HoneyLuv’s AfroLuv Remix, blending Afro-inspired grooves with big-room house energy. Jamie Jones & Baby Rose’s Rolling Thunder (Franky Rizardo Day Remix) continues the soulful vibe, while Leyo’s Candy and MAW’s Shout-N-Out, reworked by Blackchild, add a mix of underground and classic house flair. OFFAIAH, David Penn & Thando’s Always builds momentum with a soulful vocal-led groove.

The deep house textures arrive with Ossie’s Are U Still Smiling and Clay Clay, followed by Matias V.’s late-night cut 3AM (Manhattan Bridge). Franky Rizardo’s Don’t You Want My Love and Demi Riquísimo with Luke Alessi’s Yes Bby restore funk-driven house energy, while Delfonic’s Love Challenge leans into disco house. Cowlin’s On My Mind then adds a minimalistic deep tech flavour.

House remains the focus as Blackchild’s Saint-Tropez and Ferreck Dawn & Hayley May’s Deep Inside energise the mix with soulful vocals. Gabrielle’s classic Dreams gets a Red Underground house rework, while Girls of the Internet’s Affirmations in Dennis Ferrer’s remix offers hypnotic groove. Honey Dijon & Sebastian Manuel’s Mixologist (Piem Remix) continues the underground house feel with club polish.

The episode closes on deep and soulful tones with Kerri Chandler’s So Let The Wind Come, Ketiov & Edvvin’s Latin-tinged Extravaganza, and Leo Berr’s I Want Your Love. Marco Mei ties it all together with Marshall Jefferson’s reimagined Life Is Simple (Move Your Body), Ridney & Capri’s Take U There, Sam Karlson’s On The Run, and Sante Sansone & Billy Sherif’s The Philly Girl, leaving a lasting impression of house, deep house, and tech-driven grooves.
