Scientific Sound Asia has released the playlists for DJ Joshua's radio programs, Floating Beats and Velvety Elements. This electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency has a strong influence in the Asian electronic music industry and attracts a large global audience.

Originally from Évora, Portugal, DJ Joshua is a passionate fan of electronic music. His extensive music library consists of digital tracks, vinyl records, CDs, and cassettes, demonstrating his deep commitment to the genre. In his formative years, he dedicated countless hours honing his DJ skills and curating a diverse range of music styles such as Techno, House, Drum and Bass, and Chillout.

During the 1990s, Portugal experienced a cultural conflict due to the emergence of rave music, which was perceived as a divisive and controversial genre. The energetic beats and groundbreaking sounds of rave music met with significant opposition, resulting in its omission from radio airplay.

Amidst a time of chaos, DJ Joshua emerged as a representation of steadfast commitment to electronic music. Despite facing prohibitions and criticism from society, he remained devoted to the genre, persisting in producing and sharing his music through unconventional means and clandestine locations.

Working closely with his team, DJ Joshua organized House and Techno music events at different clubs and bars, bringing his creative ideas to life. His impact went beyond the local community, attracting guests from various cities.

Following the arrival of his first child, DJ Joshua made the decision to reduce his participation in event planning and radio hosting. He shifted his focus to wholeheartedly embrace his new role as a parent.

Seeing how his daughter was growing and becoming more mature motivated DJ Joshua to reignite his love for music. This revived enthusiasm led him to start a new venture: the Floating Beats podcast and radio show.

Since its inception, the program has attracted a dedicated following eagerly awaiting Joshua's thoughtfully curated playlist. Floating Beats, accessible on various distinguished online platforms, has become a top choice for fans of electronic music.

Out of a profound passion for House music, DJ Joshua initiated the "Velvety Elements" project with the aim of honoring the genre's intricate emotional depth. His widely acclaimed podcasts delve into the complexities of House music, securing a place on several global House and Techno radio stations, including our own.

According to DJ Joshua, music goes beyond just being sound; it is a powerful form of art that combines different elements to elicit deep emotions and physical responses. He views music as a spiritual haven that engages our senses with intricate harmonies, providing a life-changing encounter for those who recognize its charm.

DJ Joshua is committed to involving his audience in the true spirit of the music, striving to establish an ambiance that mirrors its distinct features and roots. With his enthusiasm and steadfast commitment, he endeavors to construct a cohesive musical experience that resonates deeply with every individual.

Expanding his horizons in January 2024, he ventured into music production and established JFLM Recordings to publish his music. His musical creations are recognized for their deep emotional impact, steadfast commitment, and intense love for electronic music.

Joshua has built a solid reputation with his consistent radio broadcasts, skillfully blending different sub-genres of House Music and Techno. His programs showcase a wide range of musical styles, such as Deep House, Tech House, Melodic House, Detroit Techno, Soulful House, Progressive House, Techno, Vocal House, and Melodic Techno.

Known for his energetic performances across various styles and genres, Joshua has a loyal fan base.
