Scientific Sound Asia is proud to announce that DJ Jay Newman will be performing his first guest show. Scientific Sound Asia is an online electronic music station for the Asian region with an international following.
Jay Newman is a British DJ, promoter, and producer hailing from Worcester in the United Kingdom. His main styles are House, Deep House, Melodic House, Tech House, Organic House, and Progressive House and he aims to project a unique freshness whenever he plays.
His original releases were as a duo with Boxer a.k.a Daniel Humphries when the pair entered the scene in 2016. Since then he has had a spread of releases as a solo artist on labels such as Country Club Disco, Variety Music, Great Stuff, 3rd Avenue and many more.
He has performed at a host of venues and festivals internationally keeping his sets up to date across the various House Music genres using vocal samples, live remixing and unique effects to enchant the crowd. He has over the last few years delved into promotion at his own events under Pro-ject Worcester, It's Just a Disco and Hideout Festival Croatia.
He has performed as a resident DJ for the Ministry of Sound World Tour, and Intercontinental Hotels, Formula 1 Grand Prix, and recently at the FIFA World Cup. His tracks have received support from a good share of artists including Eats Everything, Steve Lawler, Mark Knight, Truth Be Told, Camelphat, and a great deal more.
His outlook is to keep spreading his unique vibes as a DJ and producer internationally and hone his events in his home city and beyond in the coming years. His style is fresh and his guest show features Downtempo, Deep House, Organic House, Melodic House, and Afro House.
