Scientific Sound Asia is proud to announce that DJ Jay Newman will be performing his first guest show. Scientific Sound Asia is an online electronic music station, DJ agency and promoter for the Asian region with a growing international audience.

Jay Newman is a British DJ, promoter and producer from Worcester in the United Kingdom. His sound blends House, Deep House, Melodic House, Tech House, Organic House and Progressive House, always delivered with a sense of freshness and precision. He is known for crafting warm, rhythmic and emotionally engaging sets that balance groove with atmosphere.

His early releases were as part of a duo with Boxer, also known as Daniel Humphries, when they entered the scene in 2016. As a solo artist, Jay has continued to build an impressive catalogue on labels such as Country Club Disco, Variety Music, Great Stuff and 3rd Avenue, among others.

In recent years, he has expanded his reach with a steady flow of Melodic and Organic House productions that have gained strong support across the scene. Recent standout works include his 2024 and 2025 releases on 3rd Avenue and Pro-ject Records, reinforcing his position as a rising artist within melodic underground circles.

Jay has performed at a wide range of venues and festivals internationally, keeping his sets current across multiple House sub-genres and using vocal samples, live edits and detailed effects to elevate the dancefloor. His promotional work has also grown steadily, with events such as Pro-ject Worcester, It’s Just a Disco and his involvement with Hideout Festival Croatia showcasing his commitment to developing the scene both locally and abroad.

His career includes high-profile residencies and performances for the Ministry of Sound World Tour, Intercontinental Hotels, Formula 1 Grand Prix and, more recently, the FIFA World Cup. His music has received support from respected artists including Eats Everything, Steve Lawler, Mark Knight, Truth Be Told and Camelphat, further strengthening his reputation as an emerging name in the global House music community.

Jay’s outlook remains focused on spreading his distinctive sound as both DJ and producer while continuing to grow his event brands at home and beyond. His guest show for Scientific Sound Asia reflects this momentum, offering a smooth and engaging journey through Downtempo, Deep House, Organic House, Melodic House and Afro House.
