DJ Graham Gold has released the playlist for the 'Esta La Musica' episode 479. Graham is a former Top 100 artist in DJ Magazine. Scientific Sound Asia serves as the electronic music station for Asia and beyond.
Graham's weekly podcast originated after he left London's Kiss 100 FM, named after the words tattooed on his arm during a tour in the United States in the late nineties. Graham gained international recognition through his London club night Peach and his weekly show on London's renowned Kiss 100 FM.
In his early career as a DJ, he spent ten years with a six-night-a-week residency at Gullivers Club in London’s Mayfair. His journey began at 17 in the early seventies, when his passion for Afrocentric music led to a collaboration with his close friend Duncan Uren, creating 'The Funky Road Show,' a mobile disco that became popular in London’s West End.

At just 18, Graham was performing black music nearly every night at various venues across the U.K. capital. In the early 80s, he secured several residencies on pirate radio stations throughout the city, showcasing a range of genres including Reggae, Soul, Disco, and Jazz Funk.
Thanks to his frequent events and growing reputation, he joined the Radio London Soul Night Out team and started a weekly Saturday night soul show on London's Capital FM, earning the title of Broadcaster of the Year in 1985. Although he was well-known in London, it was his time at London's Kiss 100 FM that brought him international recognition.
He was seen as the driving force behind the station's success and stepped into the spotlight by entering the DJ Magazine Top 100, remaining in the Top 100 for 8 years. He has sold over 700,000 albums from his various mixes and has achieved 6 BPI Certified Gold albums and 4 Silver.
His extensive experience has taken him around the world, performing in 150 cities across more than 43 countries for major brands and festivals, including Glastonbury, Homelands, Gatecrasher, Gods Kitchen, Passion, Slinky, Impulz, Earthdance, W.E.M.F., Summadayze, and The Street Parade in Zurich. Graham continues to have a large international following and remains passionate about music, with his show and performances at events in Asia and globally.
Graham's weekly show highlights the best of House and Techno, featuring promos directly from record labels and producers, and includes sub-genres like Deep House, Progressive House, Melodic House and Techno, Tech House, Deep Tech, Organic House, and Techno. He still releases music on numerous international labels, is currently on a European tour, and will return to Asia in the coming months.
The mix begins with Murat Grayson’s Karma, setting the tone in organic house, before Callumcantsleep’s Umahra brings a melodic house and electronica blend. Sam Welt’s Echoes Of The Past adds breakbeat textures layered with progressive house influence, leading into Two2Faced’s Time, a melodic house cut with atmospheric depth.
R O N A’s Can’t Sleep introduces vocal trance with a progressive trance crossover, while Evelynka’s Falling in a Joone remix fuses deep house with melodic techno for added emotion. Beat Junkiez then switches gears with You Won’t Do For Love, infusing funky house grooves, followed by Audiojack’s Gratify, firmly grounded in house.
Midway, Matchy’s Afloat delivers melodic house and progressive house tones, while Oleg Messer featuring Sevenever on Power Machine enters indie dance territory. Airball’s Raasclaat bridges funky tech and tech house energy, with Ekoboy’s El Jaleo keeping the tech house momentum alive. Rhyme Time Productions’ You & Me in a Skapes & Hidgem remix introduces garage house alongside house rhythms, adding urban flair.
The episode closes with Juanher’s Mi Arte, a tech house track fused with Latin house flavour, before Ant Brooks’ Phat Kick finishes the mix with jackin house and rave house intensity. Esta La Musica 479 is a showcase of house music artists and DJs, weaving tech house, melodic house, progressive house, trance, breakbeat, and indie dance into one eclectic journey. For fans of house music songs, progressive trance, and jackin house beats, this set reflects Graham Gold’s broad vision of underground sounds.
