Graham Gold, a well-known British DJ, is widely acclaimed for his musical talents worldwide. For more than four decades, he has continuously impressed club attendees, captivated listeners, and secured regular gigs across the globe, solidifying his reputation as a prominent figure in the current era.
Despite Graham's numerous successful projects over the years, his worldwide recognition is primarily attributed to his club night 'Peach' in London and his regular show on the renowned Kiss 100 FM in the city. The inception of his weekly podcast occurred following his departure from Kiss 100 FM and the experience of getting a tattoo during his tour of the United States in the late nineties.
With its name inspired by the tattoo on his arm, 'Esta La Musica' rapidly became a favorite among electronic music fans globally and quickly gained recognition among music lovers everywhere. The program guides its audience through various sub-genres including tech house, progressive house, and techno, delivering captivating and exhilarating sounds that leave listeners eagerly awaiting each upcoming episode.
When he first started as a DJ, he held a residency at Gulliver's Club in Mayfair, London, for ten years, playing six nights a week. His passion for Afrocentric music and talent in DJing led him to collaborate with his friend Duncan Uren, resulting in the creation of 'The Funky Road Show,' a mobile disco based in London's West End.

Following many positive reviews and sold-out performances, he became part of the Radio London Soul Night Out Crew and began presenting a weekly Saturday night show on Capital FM in London. In 1985, he received the Broadcaster of the Year award. While he was already respected in the U.K., his time at Kiss 100 FM in London propelled him to global stardom.
Recognised as the main driving force behind the station's success, he gained widespread acclaim by being featured in the spotlight of the DJ Magazine Top 100 for 8 consecutive years. Graham's exceptional talent has allowed him to demonstrate his abilities in 150 cities across 40 countries globally.
Through collaborations with top brands and appearances at renowned festivals like Glastonbury, Gatecrasher, God's Kitchen, and The Street Parade in Zurich, Switzerland, he has established a significant global fan base. DJ Graham Gold’s Esta La Musica episode 527 brings an eclectic mix of melodic beats and deep grooves. From Malam’s "Fly" and Zoo Brazil’s "Forbidden Days" to remixes of classics like Pink Floyd’s "Another Brick In The Wall" by Sonny Noto, this episode offers a captivating exploration of sound.

The episode opens with Malam’s Fly, released on Monaberry, bringing an Indie Dance and Melodic House flavour that immediately sets a mood of textured synth layers and playful rhythm. Zoo Brazil follows with Forbidden Days on Sudbeat, leaning into classic Progressive House with deep, atmospheric grooves that reflect the label’s reputation for cutting-edge underground releases. Chocolate Puma, Rene Et Gaston, and Andrew Done shift the vibe with Vallee De L’Armes on Armada, infusing House energy with punchy basslines and groove-led percussion, a reminder of their long-standing influence on club floors.
Che Jose’s Domino Effect on F.T.F.T. keeps the flow locked in the Progressive House realm, balancing melodic structures with tight rhythmic focus. A surprise comes with Sonny Noto’s private remix of Pink Floyd’s Another Brick In The Wall, reinterpreted as a Progressive House and Melodic Techno hybrid that honours the original’s rock roots while reshaping it for contemporary dancefloors. Son Of Son’s Lost Control, released on Siamese, delivers a strong Melodic House & Techno cut, marked by emotive synths and steady, hypnotic drive.
The middle section deepens with BDC’s Closer on Widerworks and Dave Seaman’s Two By Two on Selador, both strong Progressive House cuts that showcase subtle groove development and layered progression. Sasha and Sentre’s Glastacy on Last Night On Earth intensifies the atmosphere with a lush, cinematic structure, while Jerome Isma-Ae and Alastor’s Opium brings trademark energy and precision, cementing the core of the set in Progressive House’s evolving sound.
Classic influences appear as Underworld’s Dark & Long is transformed by Jerome Isma-Ae and Maor Levi into a Progressive House and Progressive Trance crossover, pushing the mix into peak-time territory with reimagined 90s energy. Stereo Underground’s Down & Under adds more depth on Future Romance, while Luca Le Bleu’s New Spice (Fire) in Dharfunkh’s remix combines House and Indie Dance elements, blending groove with modern textures. The set closes with Gorge’s Up With An Angel on 3000Grad, remixed by Leeni & Danilo, which provides a Deep House and Organic House flourish, leaving the mix to end on a smooth and soulful note.
This episode highlights Graham Gold’s ability to weave progressive structures with melodic depth, balancing underground textures and modern club dynamics.
