DJ Magazine's top 100, DJ Graham Gold, has published the playlist for 'Esta La Musica' episode 519. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station for the region and internationally.
Graham Gold, a British DJ, is widely acclaimed for his musical talent worldwide. With more than four decades of impressing club attendees, captivating listeners, and securing residencies globally, this disc jockey and producer has solidified his position as one of the exceptional figures of our era.
Despite his numerous successful ventures over the years, Graham's worldwide recognition is largely attributed to his London club night, 'Peach', and his weekly show on the renowned Kiss 100 FM in London. Graham's weekly podcast originated from his exit from Kiss 100 FM and the tattoo he got while touring the United States in the late nineties.
Named after the tattoo on his arm, 'Esta La Musica' rapidly grew in popularity among electronic music enthusiasts globally and soon became well-known among music fans everywhere. The program guides its audience through various sub-genres like tech house, progressive house, and techno, delivering captivating and electrifying sounds that leave listeners wanting more with each episode.
During his early career as a DJ, he held a residency at Gulliver's Club in Mayfair, London, for ten years, performing six nights a week. His talent on the decks and passion for Afrocentric music eventually led to a collaboration with his friend Duncan Uren, resulting in the establishment of 'The Funky Road Show,' a mobile disco in London's West End.

When he was only 18 years old, Graham was DJing black music at various nightclubs in London. By the early 1980s, he secured multiple DJ residencies on pirate radio stations, spinning a mix of genres such as Reggae, Soul, Disco, and Jazz Funk.
Following a series of highly positive reviews and sold-out performances, he secured a spot with the Radio London Soul Night Out Crew and launched a weekly Saturday night program on London's Capital FM. In 1985, he was honoured with the Broadcaster of the Year award. Despite his solid reputation in the U.K. Capital, his time at London's Kiss 100 FM brought him global recognition.
He gained recognition as the driving force behind the station's success and rose to fame by entering the limelight of the DJ Magazine Top 100, maintaining his position for 8 years. Graham's skills have led him to perform in 150 cities across more than 40 countries around the globe.
Having collaborated with top brands and entertained audiences at renowned festivals like Glastonbury, Gatecrasher, God's Kitchen, and The Street Parade in Zurich, Switzerland, he has amassed a large global fan base. Graham's DJ skills have attracted a significant following worldwide, as he showcases his talent at various events across the globe.
Having released music on numerous globally recognised labels, he has sold over 700,000 albums featuring various mixes, including 6 BPI Certified Gold and 4 Silver albums. Following a European tour, Graham has now come back to Thailand and established bases in Bangkok, Pattaya, and the beautiful Koh Phangan, where he has been performing at the renowned Full Moon Party.
The prominent DJ has been attracting attention in the region and is expected to bring a fresh vibe to the electronic music scene in Southeast Asia. Graham's weekly radio program showcases top-notch House and Techno tracks, including various sub-genres like Deep House, Melodic Techno, Progressive House, Melodic House, Techno, and Deep Tech, featuring promos from record labels and producers.
The latest instalment of Esta La Musica opens with deep, driving progressive house selections. Neeco’s Koan and Deepfire’s Cosmic Dreamscape set the tone, before Spencer Brown’s Chair 10 and Gorgin’s Mistral add their trademark Global Underground polish. These tracks showcase why progressive house remains such a dominant sound across modern clubs.
Shifting into deeper moods, Fioretti’s Vice explores a more introspective deep house groove. The classic influence of Kenlou, Louie Vega and Kenny Dope’s What A Sensation brings in timeless house energy, balancing contemporary selections with a nod to tradition.
Tech house textures surface through Scruby’s Baile, providing a percussive lift before Badwolf’s Galactica and Lucci Minati’s Hypno push progressive rhythms forward. Maxim Sheremetev and Beil’s Comet adds to the sequence with layered melodies and late-night energy.
The mix closes on melodic house & techno with Afterlife favourites. Anyma and Grimes’ Welcome To The Opera (Adriatique Remix) and Anyma’s Pictures Of You (Cassian Remix) provide emotional intensity and soaring atmosphere, leaving Esta La Musica 519 as a rich exploration of progressive house and melodic sounds.
