Graham Gold unveils episode 599 of Esta La Musica on Scientific Sound Asia, the international electronic music news platform, DJ agency and promoter connecting listeners across Asia and worldwide with underground electronic sounds.

A British DJ with more than four decades behind the decks, Graham Gold is one of the most recognisable figures in electronic music. His sound moves across house, progressive house, melodic techno and deep tech, and his longevity reflects both adaptability and a consistent understanding of dancefloor dynamics across generations.

Ranked in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs for eight consecutive years, his influence on global club culture has been significant. His breakthrough came through London's Peach club nights and a long-running residency on Kiss 100 FM, where his radio shows reached international audiences and helped define an important period in electronic music broadcasting.

Before achieving wider recognition, Graham spent a decade at Gulliver's Club in Mayfair and built his reputation across London's underground during the 1970s and 1980s. His early passion for Afrocentric rhythms led to The Funky Road Show, a mobile disco concept that brought reggae, soul, disco and jazz-funk to dancefloors across the city. He was active on pirate radio during this period before joining Capital FM, where he received the Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985.

His career expanded internationally to more than 150 cities across over 40 countries, with appearances at Glastonbury Festival, Gatecrasher, God's Kitchen and Street Parade among the highlights. He has sold more than 700,000 compilation albums, earning six Gold and four Silver BPI certifications.

As a producer, broadcaster and tastemaker, Graham Gold continues to support established and emerging artists through Esta La Musica. The show's name was inspired by a tattoo he received during a US tour in the 1990s, reflecting a long-standing connection to music, rhythm and club culture.

Now based in Thailand, he performs regularly in Bangkok, Pattaya and Koh Phangan, and his appearance at Retro Mountain in 2025 reaffirmed his ongoing relationship with audiences across the region. He continues to perform across the world and at home in London for his club night Peach.

Esta La Musica 599 opens with Borak's Oscura Italiana on Circle of Life, the Deep House quality of that selection setting a warm underground tone. Woo York's Lose Control on HABITAT Records follows, the Ukrainian duo's Melodic House and Techno character shifting the register before Nick Stoynoff's Changement on Audioholics Records and Ezequiel Arias's Psychodelia on Anjunadeep carry the set into Progressive House territory.

Rue Jay and Wh0's Plastic Dreams on Wh0 Plays and Avi Mula's El Flamenco on PPMUSIC deliver two House Music moments before Danny Howells and Dilby's Soul Drive on Selador returns to Deep House territory. Meslow's Tell Them on Hellbent Records provides a Tech House contrast before Sahar Z and Shai T's Rebirth on Moments introduces an Organic House warmth.

Alex Vanni's Madonna on Voltaire Music sustains the Deep House direction before the episode's closing sequence brings four consecutive Melodic House and Techno selections. 8Kays and Off Night's What's Your Move and Township Rebellion and Kasablanca's It's Chemical, both on MAHOOL, arrive back to back before Savin's Insomnia on Radiate and Jenner's The Situation on Darkest Hour Records close the episode.

Esta La Musica 599 is a set that moves between Deep House, Progressive House and Melodic House and Techno with characteristic confidence, DJ Graham Gold drawing from a broad range of labels to build a show that covers considerable ground across its 14 tracks.

Don’t miss this amazing live show on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, from 8 PM to 10 PM Indochina Time (ICT), with a replay available on Wednesday from 8 AM to 10 AM (ICT).
