DJ Graham Gold unveils Esta La Musica episode 588, broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, the international electronic music platform, DJ agency and promoter connecting listeners across Asia and worldwide with underground electronic sounds.
A celebrated British DJ with more than four decades behind the decks, Graham Gold remains one of the most recognisable figures in electronic music. Known for his technical precision, infectious energy and deep musical knowledge, he continues to engage audiences through a sound that blends house, progressive house, melodic techno and deep tech.
Ranked in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs for eight consecutive years, Graham’s influence on global club culture is significant. His breakthrough came through London’s renowned Peach club nights and his long-running residency on Kiss 100 FM, where his radio shows reached international audiences and helped shape an important era of electronic music broadcasting.
Before achieving global recognition, Graham built his reputation across London’s underground during the 1970s and 1980s, including a decade-long residency at Gulliver’s Club in Mayfair. His early passion for Afrocentric rhythms inspired the creation of The Funky Road Show, a pioneering mobile disco that introduced reggae, soul, disco and jazz-funk to dancefloors across London. During this period he was also active on pirate radio before later joining Capital FM, where he received the Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985.

From these foundations, Graham Gold’s career expanded internationally, leading him to perform in more than 150 cities across over 40 countries. His appearances include major global events such as Glastonbury, Gatecrasher, God’s Kitchen and The Street Parade in Zurich. Alongside his touring success, he has sold more than 700,000 compilation albums, earning six Gold and four Silver BPI certifications.
As a producer, broadcaster and tastemaker, Graham continues to support both established and emerging artists through Esta La Musica. The show’s name, inspired by a tattoo he received during a tour in the United States during the 1990s, reflects his lifelong connection to music, rhythm and dancefloor culture.
Now based in Thailand, Graham remains closely connected to the regional electronic music scene, performing regularly at events in cities such as Bangkok, Pattaya and Koh Phangan. His appearance at Retro Mountain in early 2025 reaffirmed his ongoing relationship with audiences across Asia.
Esta La Musica episode 588 continues this journey, presenting a carefully selected set that moves through deep house, progressive house and melodic techno, capturing the uplifting and melodic energy that has defined Graham Gold’s sound throughout his career.
DJ Graham Gold begins with a smooth Progressive House opening as Ego Savvy and Time Out introduce a melodic and atmospheric direction. New Beginning and Mixed Feelings continue the gradual build, maintaining a flowing rhythm that sets the tone for the deeper progressive journey ahead.
The mix develops through Our Last Day and Reflections in the Carlos Gatto remix, both adding evolving melodic layers and subtle energy. Remember and Carousel continue the progression with rolling basslines and spacious arrangement, while Jupiter Jazz adds a slightly brighter melodic character.
Momentum shifts slightly with Sasha Carassi’s Rain and Feel, where Melodic House and Techno textures introduce a deeper and more cinematic atmosphere. The Juan Ibanez remix of Disco Rebels reconnects with the Progressive House direction, bringing the set back to its central groove.
The final section moves through Laniakea and Sky, building toward a strong melodic finish before Bloom closes the episode with a refined Melodic House and Techno tone. Episode 588 maintains a consistent progressive flow throughout, delivering a balanced blend of melodic structure and driving club rhythm.
Don’t miss this amazing live show on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, from 8 PM to 10 PM Indochina Time (ICT), with a replay available on Wednesday from 8 AM to 10 AM (ICT).
