David Ramano returns with Afro House EP ‘Pleasure’

London producer David Ramano returns to When Stars Align with ‘Pleasure’, a three-track Afro House EP moving between open, sunlit melody and darker rhythmic pressure. The release uses percussion and vocal atmosphere as connecting threads while giving each track a distinct role across daytime and late-night sets.

The title track leads with piano chords, layered synths and spacious vocals over a rolling Afro House groove. ‘Broken’ tightens the low end and shifts toward a deeper, more hypnotic mood, while ‘My Eyes’ closes with warmer melodic lift and a feel-good sense of release.

Ramano’s aim is less about following a particular season or trend than creating records that retain an emotional function. He describes the EP as a journey balancing dance-floor energy with something personal and introspective—music that can offer joy, reflection or escape depending on the listener and setting.

Raised within London’s varied musical landscape, Ramano’s background reaches back to 1990s pirate radio and later performances across the UK, Spain, Sweden and Canada. As one half of the Deepologists, he developed a style that treats soulful harmony and underground club rhythm as complementary parts of the same language.

His catalogue has received support from Damian Lazarus, Themba, CamelPhat, Shimza, ARTBAT, Cosmic Gate and Don Diablo. ‘Fall’ has passed 400,000 streams, while his wider catalogue has exceeded two million. ‘Pleasure’ consolidates that profile through a focused EP built around rhythm, mood and melodic clarity.
