David Morales returns with SABALALA remixes featuring Ameer Brooks and TSOS on DIRIDIM.

Following the release of their Afro House collaboration SABALALA, David Morales and Georgia Cee return with a new remix package featuring reinterpretations from New Jersey producer Ameer Brooks and Italian duo TSOS. Released through DIRIDIM on 12th June, the package expands the original track with two distinct perspectives while maintaining the vocal character and rhythmic foundations that defined the first release.

Originally issued earlier this month, SABALALA paired Grammy Award-winning producer David Morales with Italian-born, New York-based singer-songwriter Georgia Cee. Built around her soulful vocals and layered percussion, the track represented another chapter in their ongoing creative relationship and further demonstrated Morales' continued commitment to contemporary Afro House through his DIRIDIM imprint.

The new remix package broadens the scope of the original while bringing together artists from different corners of the international House scene. Drawing upon deep-rooted influences and decades of collective experience, the release highlights how Afro House continues to evolve through collaboration while remaining connected to the traditions that shaped it.

Ameer Brooks

New Jersey producer Ameer Brooks provides one of the fresh interpretations featured on the SABALALA remix package. Rooted in Soulful, Afro, Deep and Tech House, Brooks has developed a reputation for blending groove and atmosphere while drawing on influences that stretch across multiple genres.

Introduced to DJ culture at the age of seven, Brooks initially explored everything from rap and country to dubstep before dedicating himself fully to House music by the age of eighteen. Over the years, he has shared stages with Louie Vega, Timmy Regisford and Ultra Naté during Miami Music Week, later appearing alongside the legendary Chosen Few DJs and performing with David Morales, DJ Spinna and DJ Spen during Jamaica Frenzy.

His international profile continued to expand through appearances with Black Coffee, Themba and Blond, while his relationship with David Morales evolved into a mentorship focused on both DJing and production. Alongside releases including Are You Afraid, House Strutting and Doom, Brooks continues to develop his sound and visual identity, making his contribution to SABALALA a natural extension of his deep connection to House music culture.

Italian duo TSOS bring melodic Afro House influences to the SABALALA remix package.

TSOS

Italian duo TSOS, formed by Roberto Reale and Fabio Giunta, bring another perspective to the SABALALA remix package. Sharing a passion for Afro, Deep and Soulful House, the pair came together in 2012 after discovering common musical influences and have since established themselves both within Italy and internationally.

Before forming TSOS, Reale and Giunta had already built reputations through club residencies, radio work and performances at exclusive events. Their careers later expanded beyond Italy to appearances across the Netherlands, Spain, Malta and Switzerland, including performances at Amsterdam Dance Event, Sunscape Festival and numerous House music gatherings throughout Europe.

The duo's connection to the foundations of House music has been strengthened through their role as production assistants for Victor Simonelli's VJSinc production company. Alongside collaborations and performances with artists including Tony Humphries, David Morales, Joey Negro, DJ Spen and Mousse T, TSOS have released music through labels such as Quantize Recordings, TR Records, King Street Sounds and Melomania Records. Their interpretation of SABALALA introduces a warmer and more melodic approach, combining atmospheric textures and layered percussion while preserving the Afro House spirit of the original.

The release closes the circle between established names and emerging voices connected through David Morales' DIRIDIM imprint. By bringing together artists from New York, New Jersey and Italy, the SABALALA remix package demonstrates how contemporary Afro House continues to evolve while remaining rooted in soulful rhythms, melodic expression and dancefloor traditions.

Through collaborations with producers from different generations and backgrounds, Morales continues to use DIRIDIM as a platform for creative exchange and musical development. The remixes by Ameer Brooks and TSOS expand the reach of SABALALA, offering contrasting interpretations that underline the versatility of the original while celebrating the international character of modern House music.
