Bicycle Corporation has made public their musical selection for their next 'Roots' show on this Sunday 29th March 2020 6 to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and repeating on Tuesday at the same time. Scientific Sound Asia is the English language electronic music station for Malaysia, China, Singapore, Thailand, India, South Korea and the rest of Asia.
Bicycle Corporation is an Italian duo of the DJ and Producer Marco MEI plus the skilled Stefano Ugliano aka 6884 . Going back to the early nineties Marco was starting on his musical journey as a disc jockey and began doing his own nights as a collective known as 'Urban People' throughout the length of Italy. This gained him notoriety and he gained a residency at Pacha, which gained him recognition and DJ bookings internationally, and started him on a musical mission around the planet.
Raised in Torino, Italy, Stefano in his early years displayed incredible abilities with music. He studied with passion classical piano, percussion, and drums, loved his Chopins and West African Djembes, but that figure of 'the DJ' proved more and more intriguing for the teenage Stefano. He never knew that those very electronic beats, so hard to get on ‘90s Italian radio stations, were going to launch a very new chapter in his life.
The track-list for the next show is laid out below and represents the 'Roots' of their sound and the genres they have drawn influence from in their electronic releases. These genres include Funk, Disco, Soul, Afrobeat, Electro, Rare Groove, Hip Hop, and Afrocentric. Bicycle Corporation is available for booking via our DJ agency for Asia.
