Bicycle Corporation has released the playlist for their upcoming Foundations episode 93. Scientific Sound Asia stands as a distinguished online radio station and DJ agency, catering to the Asian region while boasting a global outreach.
Bicycle Corporation comprises the Italian duo of DJ and producers, Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, who is also known as 6884. Throughout their years in the music industry, the duo has amassed a prolific discography, boasting over 50 tracks spanning genres ranging from French House, Deep House, and Tech House to Techno.
Marco embarked on his musical journey in the early nineties, immersing himself in the vibrant House Music and Techno events as a member of the Urban People crew. Through his dedication and talent, he swiftly garnered recognition within the music scene, establishing himself as a sought-after DJ across Italy. However, Marco's ambitions extended beyond national borders, leading to international bookings that propelled him onto stages across the globe.
Hailing from Torino, Italy, Stefano displayed early signs of musical talent during his childhood. With a natural affinity for the arts, he immersed himself in musical pursuits, dedicating much of his spare time to honing his craft. Stefano's passion led him to pursue formal education in classical piano, percussion, and drums, fostering a deep appreciation for diverse musical styles, including the works of Chopin and West African Djembe rhythms.
Despite his diverse musical interests, Stefano found a special allure in one particular aspect of music: the DJ. Entranced by the art of spinning records, the teenage Stefano was captivated by the beats that were rarely heard on Italian radio stations at that time. This fascination with DJing ignited his passion for electronic music and set him on a path towards becoming part of the industry.
For many, the idea of creating and performing electronic music before large audiences may seem like an unattainable dream. However, Stefano remained undeterred, driven by a steadfast vision that he was determined to see through to fruition.
After crossing paths with Marco and sharing their mutual passion for music, they embarked on a journey marked by hard work, dedication, and unwavering determination. Together, they transformed their shared vision into reality, giving rise to Bicycle Corporation through their collaborative efforts.
Even amidst their current success, Marco and Stefano remain grounded in their humble beginnings. Reflecting on their journey, they revisited some of their earlier tracks, cherishing the memories of their musical evolution. In a nod to their roots, they established a Bandcamp page to distribute these tracks, allowing listeners to connect with their musical origins.
Their weekly House Music, Electronic, and Techno radio show showcases their latest Indie Dance, Melodic Techno, and Techno favourites. Catch the live broadcast on Friday, March 15th, 2024, from 10 PM to 12 AM Indochina Time (ICT), with a repeat airing on Tuesday from 10 AM to 12 PM ICT.
