Bicycle Corporation is a DJ and producer duo from Italy comprised of Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, who is widely recognized as 6884. Throughout their extensive music career, the talented pair has created more than 50 songs spanning various genres including French House, Deep House, Tech House, and Techno.
Marco's career took off in the 1990s when he started working as a crew member for house music and techno events such as 'Urban People.' As time went on, his talent and hard work gained him recognition in the music scene, making him a highly sought-after individual all over Italy. However, his success didn't end there, Marco's reputation grew to the point where he began receiving bookings for international events around the world.
Stefano, a young musician from Torino, Italy, displayed early talent and potential in his childhood. He developed a strong passion for the world of music, dedicating most of his free time to it. Stefano immersed himself in studying classical piano, percussion, and drums, while also deeply admiring the works of renowned composers like Chopin and the expressive rhythms of West African Djembe.
Despite his deep passion for various genres of music, Stefano had a special affinity for one particular aspect: the DJ. The person behind the turntables held a magnetic allure for the young Stefano, as their beats were rarely heard on any Italian radio station at the time.
Creating such sounds and performing them in front of a large audience might seem like an unattainable goal for many. However, Stefano refused to be discouraged. With unwavering determination and the help of Marco, Bicycle Corporation was brought into existence through relentless effort, commitment, and perseverance.
Despite their current success, Marco and Stefan remain grounded in their humble origins. Lately, they have been revisiting their earlier compositions and have taken the initiative to establish a Bandcamp page for distribution purposes.
