Bicycle Corporation has published the playlist for their first 'Foundations' episode 10 this weekend. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music station, DJ agency, and promoter serving the region and internationally.

Bicycle Corporation is an Italian duo of the DJ and Producer Marco Mei plus the skilled Stefano Ugliano aka 6884. As a duo the Italian pair have amassed well over 50 remixes and original tracks spanning the House and Techno sub-genres.

During the early 1990s, Marco embarked on his musical career as a DJ and producer, organizing events under the name 'Urban People' throughout Italy. His work gained him recognition, resulting in a residency at Pacha. This opportunity opened doors for international DJ bookings, propelling him on a global musical journey.

Stefano, born and raised in Torino, Italy, showed a great talent for music from a young age. He enthusiastically pursued classical piano, percussion, and drums, with a particular fondness for Chopin and West African Djembe.

As Stefano matured, the image of the disc jockey captivating the crowd became increasingly mesmerizing to the teenage boy. He pondered whether those electronic beats, which were rare on Italian radio stations in the '90s, would lead to a whole new chapter in his life, eventually leading to the evolution of Bicycle Corporation.

The tracklist for the next show is laid out below and represents the 'Foundations' of their sound and the genres they have drawn influence from in their electronic releases. These genres include Funk, Disco, Soul, Afrobeat, Electro, Rare Groove, Hip Hop, and Afrocentric. Bicycle Corporation are available for booking via our DJ agency for Asia.

Bicycle Corporation’s Foundations Episode 10, dated August 5, 2021, delivers a groove-heavy mix of Afrobeat, Disco, Funk, and Jazz Fusion. Highlights include Afrobeat classics like De Gama’s "1972" and Jasper Van't Hof's Pili Pili’s "Hoomba Hoomba (Jepe Edit)," alongside Brazilian influences with Airto Moreira’s "Circo Maribondo (Dan Shake Cut)" and Gal Costa’s "Agosto Damor (Lego Re-Edit)."

Disco and Funk staples from Hamilton Bohannon’s "The Groove Machine" and James Brown’s "James! (LTJ Edit Rework)" add timeless energy, while global rhythms shine in tracks like Ofra Haza’s "Im Nin'alu (Radial Gaze Edit)." This playlist offers a vibrant blend of classic grooves, reworks, and globally inspired sounds.
