Two producers working at opposite ends of the globe have released a joint EP that distils their shared approach to dancefloor construction into two tightly focused tracks. Madrid-based ALONNE and Brazilian-born, Australia-based Shade By Noon dropped 'Shake That' on 5th June through Unheard Black, the underground imprint operating beneath the Unheard Music collective.

The EP contains two cuts built for peak time settings. The title track drives forward on commanding low-end energy and interlocking rhythmic hooks, while 'Kaoss' takes a darker turn, constructed around rolling grooves and deeper textural layers. Together, they map out a clear arc across their short runtime, balancing club aggression with the groove sensibility that defines both producers' individual output.

ALONNE

ALONNE is the alias Alvaro Alonso adopted in 2024 after more than fifteen years working in electronic music. His catalogue under this name has grown quickly, with releases on Phisica, Print ID, Sapient Robots, and Beatfreak Recordings establishing him within the Indie Dance and underground house circuit. Towards the end of 2025, he signed two tracks with Pavel Petrov's KONQ Audio imprint, before adding Unheard Black to his list of labels.

His music has drawn support from Far&High, Pavel Petrov, Marc DePulse, AFFKT, Mila Journée, Joyce Muniz, Audio Junkies, and others, reflecting a growing profile across the European underground. For ALONNE, the signing carried personal weight: Far&High are among the artists he has most admired throughout his career.

Shade By Noon

Shade By Noon arrived in the scene with No Pretend on Print ID before finding his footing with the Run & Frenetica EP on Exx Underground, releases that pushed him into Beatport's Top 10 and began circulating in sets across the indie dance and tech house circuit. Working at the intersection of those two genres, his productions favour hypnotic grooves, deep low end, and sustained tension over more obvious crowd mechanics. Support from Massano and Mila Journée has helped extend his reach beyond Australia and Brazil into European club culture.

The two producers connected in 2025 after appearing on the same label and began exchanging ideas remotely. Both independently cite 'Kaoss' as the track that established the chemistry between them, with ALONNE sending an early concept that the pair then developed before shifting register for the more dancefloor-direct 'Shake That'.

"Working with Shade By Noon felt natural from the start," ALONNE said. "Once we realised how similar our vision was in the studio, we started exchanging ideas and quickly built a strong creative connection. Every session and feedback exchange pushed the tracks further, and the result feels fresh, powerful, and honest to where we are as artists right now."

Shade By Noon described a similar experience. "He sent me the early version of 'Kaoss', and it instantly clicked. The track pretty much built itself from there. Not long after, we started experimenting with something a bit more genre-blended but that we could still fit in both of our sets, and that turned into 'Shake That'."

Unheard Black operates as the darker arm of Unheard Music, the collective-driven label founded in 2025 by Far&High, pizzaaftersex, and Mona Chrome. The parent label was built on a deliberate rejection of algorithmic programming in favour of artist-led creative freedom, and has expanded its activity beyond recordings to include events, podcast content, and planned sessions in London, Dubai, and New York.

Far&High bring over 25 years of production experience to the label's identity, pizzaaftersex draws on a background in cinematic sound design and gaming soundtracks, and Mona Chrome is a techno artist working within dub and house traditions whose work has drawn support from Solomun and Pan-Pot.
