Episode 692 of After Hours delivers a deep and immersive progressive house journey, with resident DJ Hypnotised joined by guest DJ Matías Carafa. Broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, the show reflects the station’s ongoing commitment to championing underground electronic music across Asia and to a global audience.

Hailing from Ghent, Belgium, Hypnotised has built his reputation on melodic, story-driven sets that combine emotional depth with technical precision. Performances at major festivals such as I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno have firmly established him within the international underground scene.

Alongside his long-time collaborator PatriZe, Hypnotised has shaped After Hours into a respected platform for progressive and melodic house. The series is syndicated worldwide on TM Radio in the USA, XBeat in Europe, Cosmos Radio in Germany, and Scientific Sound Asia in Vietnam, building connections with audiences across continents.

Beyond After Hours, the pair also present AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio and Hypnotised Presents Energetic on Progressive Beats Radio. As co-founder of AH Digital, Hypnotised also plays a key role as label manager.

The label’s debut release, People from the Otherworld, drew attention with a Rui Da Silva remix, while his work under the Man on the Moon alias on tracks such as Infinity and Sense has further cemented his standing. With forthcoming music on SLC-6 Music, Tantalum Records, and AH Digital, Hypnotised continues to expand his influence within the progressive house community.

After Hours 692 opens with Hypnotised guiding the first hour into rich progressive house sounds. Sofia Deren’s Onix sets the tone with deep atmospherics, followed by Kay-D’s Odyssey (Night Mix), which explores dreamlike melodies. Jayy Vibes’ Rising Sun in Kazko’s remix adds uplifting energy, while Carlos Bacchus & Sebas Ramos’ Waver keeps the set flowing with rolling percussion.

Cary Crank’s Echoes From Below, remixed by Rauschhaus, adds hypnotic depth before Cristoph’s Paradise featuring Jem Cooke lifts the energy with melodic house & techno and powerful vocals. Radiohead’s Exit Music reworked by Nicolas Viana introduces an ethereal progressive touch. Rabiee Ahmad’s Eldian Empire and Redspace’s Mirror Mind in Sabrina Rivas’ remix sustain the melodic atmosphere, closing with MuscleDyke’s Dark White in Mind Echoes’ remix, a hypnotic track rich in layered sound.

The second hour is dedicated to Matias Carafa, who delivers an array of his originals and remixes. Space Talk and Safari (his remix for Jeeva) showcase his progressive house foundation, followed by a remix for Noe Bortolussi’s Timelines. Collaborations with Jonatan Ramonda, such as Blackout and Bubbles highlight his versatile approach to melody, while Grandmother’s Secrets dives deeper into emotional storytelling.

Mark Brainford’s Afterglow in Matias Carafa’s remix transitions the set into melodic house & techno territory before the flow returns to his solo work with Plexor, Trash, and The Choice. Each track demonstrates Carafa’s hypnotic yet emotive progressive style, closing After Hours 692 with a seamless journey through modern progressive house and melodic house & techno.
