Episode 688 of After Hours delivers a deep and immersive session of Progressive House, featuring resident DJ Hypnotised alongside guest Tobi Amuchastegui. Broadcast via Scientific Sound Asia, this episode continues the station's mission of promoting cutting-edge electronic music across Asia and to a growing global audience.

Hailing from Ghent, Belgium, Hypnotised is known for his melodic, story-driven sets that blend emotion with technical finesse. With appearances at leading festivals such as I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno, he has earned widespread recognition for his contributions to the underground scene.

Together with his long-time collaborator PatriZe, Hypnotised has shaped the After Hours series into a respected platform for Progressive and Melodic House. The show is now syndicated on key stations including TM Radio in the USA, XBeat in Europe, Cosmos Radio in Germany, and Scientific Sound Asia in Vietnam, connecting fans worldwide to forward-thinking sounds.

In addition to their work on After Hours, the duo hosts AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio and Hypnotised Presents Energetic on Progressive Beats Radio. Hypnotised has also performed internationally on outlets such as Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, and Golden Wings Music Radio, and has shared stages with Marco Bailey, Nick Bril, and Tom Hades at events including ADE and Deep on Deck.

As co-founder of AH Digital, Hypnotised plays an active role as a label manager. The label’s debut, People from the Otherworld, gained early attention with a standout remix by Rui Da Silva. Follow-up releases, including Infinity and Sense, under his Man on the Moon alias, have earned strong support, and upcoming tracks on SLC-6 Music, Tantalum Records, and AH Digital promise to continue that momentum.

Hypnotised opens the first hour with Ryan (CU) and ODAX’s X in the Will Daley Remix, establishing a smooth yet driving tone. Kiky Pop’s Delta Mirror and Nikhila Hashen’s Escape Reality keep the melodic energy alive, leading into the Allan McLoud Remix of LEM’s Babies From Saturn. Hypnotised’s own rework of Tabrissel’s Time & Thoughts offers layered textures and warm harmonics.

The set moves into deeper territory with Rockka and Dr Green’s Suspect in the Oreiente Remix and Freedo Mosho’s Paradise Lost given a Maze 28 reform. Kostya Outta’s Moving Lights in the Redspace Remix glides seamlessly into Jeeva’s Safari, reimagined by Matias Carafa. The first hour closes with Andrés Moris’ Rust remixed by Matt Oliver & Campaner (BR), delivering a refined Progressive House finish.

Tobi Amuchastegui’s second hour begins with Eichenbaum’s Delayed Senses in Nicolás Leonelli’s Remix, moving through the hypnotic groove of Tomás Briski’s The Rest remixed by Tonaco. Paul Thomas’ take on Sistersweet’s Sister’s Mantra adds atmospheric depth, while Maezbi & Nicolás Viana’s Smooth offers crisp percussion. Tobi’s own unreleased ID track keeps the flow before FJL’s After Ego brings a dreamy melodic layer.

The final stretch features Byhon & Agustín Massari’s Transmission and Mike Rish’s Flatline, delivering steady club energy. Kamilo Sanclemente’s Anagram in Mayro’s Remix transitions into the emotive Dream Of You by Envotion, remixed by Little Foot. Nicolás Viana’s rework of Molac’s Sacred Hoop leads into HVOB’s Bruise in Antrim’s Remix, closing the show with deep, progressive warmth.
