Episode 678 of After Hours brings together Hypnotised and special guest DJ Lem (IT) for a deep exploration of Progressive House. Aired via Scientific Sound Asia, a premier electronic music station, event promoter, and DJ agency in Asia, the programme continues to connect with an ever-expanding global audience.

This week’s host, Hypnotised, hails from Ghent, Belgium, a city known for its rich musical heritage. As a DJ and producer, he has made a name for himself through appearances at iconic events like I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno. With a style rooted in Progressive House and melodic grooves, his performances are known for their depth, energy, and storytelling quality, gaining him fans around the world.

His ongoing collaboration with fellow Belgian PatriZe has been instrumental in shaping the identity of After Hours. Together, they have grown the show into a key platform for the Progressive and Melodic scenes. Currently broadcast across four respected stations, TM Radio (USA), XBeat (EU), Cosmos Radio (Germany), and Scientific Sound Asia (Vietnam), the programme has become a trusted source for underground Progressive House music.

In addition to After Hours, the duo also curate AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio and Hypnotised Presents Energetic on Progressive Beats Radio, showcasing a wider spectrum of their musical selections and further supporting rising talent.

Beyond the airwaves, Hypnotised has performed on international platforms such as Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, and Golden Wings Music Radio. He has shared stages with names like Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, and Nick Bril, and featured at major events including the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and Deep on Deck Festival in South Africa.

As co-founder of AH Digital, Hypnotised has also made a strong impact as a label head. Their first release, People from the Otherworld, climbed the charts with a remix by Rui Da Silva. Other projects, like the Infinity EP and his Bonzai release Sense under the Man on the Moon alias, have earned praise and widespread support.

Looking forward, Hypnotised is preparing new releases on labels including SLC-6 Music, Tantalum Records, and AH Digital. As always, his work continues to evolve while staying grounded in the emotional and melodic essence of Progressive House.

This week’s guest on the After Hours show is Lem (IT), a rising talent in the global progressive house scene. With his Cosmic Journey EP set to be released on AH Digital this June, Lem continues to build momentum with both his productions and DJ sets.

Beginning his career at just 15, Lem honed his craft in Italy before relocating to Malta, where he quickly became a regular fixture at many of the island’s most iconic venues. His drive and musical curiosity soon led him to explore production, allowing him to translate his DJ sensibilities into finely crafted tracks.

As a producer, Lem has released music on respected labels such as AH Digital, Noise In Harmony, Droid9, Moussaieff, One Of A Kind, and Eternal Beats, earning recognition for his melodic approach and emotionally charged compositions. His international appearances span cities across Italy, Romania, Macedonia, and Bulgaria, introducing audiences to his dynamic and immersive style.

Now firmly established as both a DJ and producer, Lem continues to push forward, drawing listeners into his evolving auditory world with each performance and release. He is sure to shine in his journey into the electronic music community.

After Hours 678 opens with Hypnotised revisiting a classic as Pedro Luu & Murilo Damásio deliver a warm, driving remix of “Enjoy The Silence” by Depeche Mode. The energy deepens with Erich LH’s “Aquarela” reworked by Matías Delóngaro, and Daniel Testas’ “Calanthe” in Cendryma’s remix, a trio that firmly establishes the mood with Progressive House subtleties. Pedro Sanmartin & Nufects briefly shift into Melodic House & Techno territory on “Oasis”, before the hypnotic rhythm returns with Randle’s “Our Night In Riyadh” remixed by Dr Green.

Victor Crain’s “Stolen Journey” (DAANN Remix) continues the momentum with layered pads and steady progression. VegaZ SL’s “Island of Númenor” and Taylan’s “Synapse” add touches of mystery and harmonic depth. Nikoow’s “Weird Things” (Seesko Remix) introduces slightly more groove, before Nikko Mavridis’ “Nebraska” (Marchesan Remix) brings Hypnotised’s mix to a contemplative close with a tight Progressive framework.

The second hour sees Lem take the reins with his own production “Cosmic Journey”, setting the tone for a seamless session of rich, flowing Progressive House. “Aboriginal” by Randle & DEGG (MT) maintains the theme, followed by Sebas LP’s “Delirium” (Cedren & Manu-L Remix), bringing atmospheric tension.
