"After Hours" host PatriZe has announced his guest DJ Marc Denuit for the next show. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station for the region and internationally.
Playing genres from Progressive House to Techno and other house music sub-genres, 'After Hours' every week presents the best upcoming DJs and producers on the planet. The focus of 'After Hours' is the underground sounds that are headlining the respective scenes at present.
PatriZe (first hour) is a producer from Belgium, at a young age he bought his first turntables and quickly grew into the harder sound of Trance and Techno. Over the passage of time, his passion grew for the melodic and intelligent sounds of Progressive House. After years of playing throughout the Belgian scene, his breakthrough was in 2010 with Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck, along with winning the respected Night Museum DJ competition in France, warming up for progressive luminary, Guy J (Lost & Found, Bedrock).
PatriZe's devotion to honing his craft has earned him a reputation for seamless transitions, track selection, and melodic layers with a touch of tech undertones. Currently, PatriZe resides in Thailand where he broadcasts his renowned Foundations and After Hours Series with guest appearances on several global radio shows. With his own radio shows over in Europe and USA, he works hard to ensure the growth of his movement - the underground Progressive House scene. As an avid producer and founder of his label AH Digital, PatriZe creates, sources and promotes Progressive House across the globe.
For live gigs, you can find him spinning the decks at places such as Beachspot (Jomtien Beach) and Thai Lounge & Terrace (Pattaya) and other venues. He is an active player in the underground scene in Pattaya, gigging around town with a cult following. Everywhere he goes the numbers follow to enjoy his entrancing collection of beats. In April 2015 he started his own label AH Digital with his "partner in crime" Hypnotised and his producing career followed quickly.
And it started off well, all the 2015 releases of Hypnotised & PatriZe reached the Beatport Progressive House top 100 releases. Their first EP, “People from the Otherworld” even topped this chart at no. 4 and also reached the top 20 of the Techno and Tech House release charts. It was then also a great honour for them that number. 1 selling artist Rui Da Silva remixed the title track of their popular EP.
At present PatriZe inhabits Thailand where he performs often and consistently produces tracks, along with his regular show on our station he performs radio shows on other stations and publishes tracks on some good labels which often trend well in Beatport charts.
Guest DJ Marc Denuit.
This week's guest DJ (second hour) is Marc Denuit, Progressive House heavyweight, Marc Denuit AKA Goldfinger will be bringing the noise here on Scientific Sound Asia, the Electronic music show for both the region and internationally.
Marc is part of the Belgian duo Innerphonic along with artist Mad Gregor, a long-established pair on the music scene that’s been dazzling the crowd with the hypnotics of progressive house and melodic music for years.
His performances have consistently sold out wherever they’ve played and he’s appeared on some of the most prestigious radio shows ever to air, he’s been a particularly prominent figure on the infamous Xbeat Radio Station.
Marc’s work could best be described as, cutting-edge, ahead of its time and mesmerizing.’ The rhythm and beats laid down by the artist entice the crowd like nothing else, luring them on a journey of sound that nobody can break away from.
An artist with a huge fan base that stretches across all borders and has long established himself across the international music scene as a celebrated figure of the phenomenon that is progressive house. With his unique mixes and melodies, Marc has made a name for himself as both a legend and pillar of modern-day electronic music.
Marc is something of an enigma to us all as for such a brilliant and talented artist, he still remains relatively untouched by the media. But it’s that mystery that makes him so much more alluring to the crowd, such a brilliant artist that we know so little about.
It comes with great pleasure to have such a remarkable talent with us on the show.
