Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns this Saturday on Scientific Sound Asia, hosted by DJ Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz. This edition features an opening set from Nocturne, followed by a guest mix from Dylan Serna and SeaBass, delivering fresh grooves and vibrant house energy.

Nocturne, originally from Los Angeles, began his career in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz. He made his mark on the Southern California club circuit with dynamic sets that blended Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, and Latin sounds such as Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, and Cumbia. His versatility and energy behind the decks quickly gained recognition across the region.

In 2013, he shifted focus towards electronic music, teaming up with DJ MORE to form Digital Audio Kingz and securing appearances on FM radio. By 2018, he rebranded as Nocturne and launched Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a house and dance mix show that has since expanded into a globally syndicated platform through the CHNR Syndication Network.

Now based in San Diego while keeping close ties to Los Angeles, Nocturne continues to evolve his sound with projects such as On the Deep End, dedicated to Deep, Progressive, and Melodic House and Techno, along with his Deep House Sessions. Distributed through DAK Music, his mission remains clear: to share the spirit and energy of house music with audiences worldwide.

This week’s guests on Cali’s HouseNation Radio are Dylan Serna and SeaBass, both raised in Bogotá, Colombia. Growing up surrounded by the rich and diverse rhythms of their homeland, they were drawn to the power of music and its ability to bring people together from a young age. This early exposure to Colombia’s unique soundscape, filled with Latin grooves and tribal percussion, played a significant role in shaping their artistic identities.

Relocating to Los Angeles, the duo quickly carved a place for themselves within the city’s underground scene. Known for their dynamic back-to-back sets, they bring an energy that blends strong Latin influence with deep, underground house and techno flavours. Their sound stands out for its raw yet refined approach, layering traditional percussion with contemporary club elements, always keeping the dancefloor moving.

Performances across the LA circuit have seen them connect with a growing community of music lovers who recognise the authenticity and passion at the core of their sets. Each appearance showcases their ability to weave their Colombian roots into global underground culture, bridging continents through rhythm and flow.

Now, with their reach extending beyond Los Angeles, Dylan Serna and SeaBass continue to share their vision on international platforms. As DJs, collaborators, and cultural ambassadors, they remain committed to celebrating the sounds of their heritage while embracing the innovation of the underground electronic movement. Their sets are not only about music but also about identity, expression, and the unifying force of the dancefloor.

Episode 288 begins with DJ Nocturne showcasing deep house selections such as Climbers & Rossell’s Inside Out and Sebb Junior’s My Luv 4 U. Kerri Chandler & Jerome Sydenham’s Atmospheric Beats and Q Narongwate’s 90’s piano-driven Paradise add house authenticity before Low Steppa’s Stand By Me closes the warm-up.

The set quickly transitions into tech house with Leftwing : Kody’s Torus, followed by Elegant Hands & Calego’s The Weekend and Kofla’s Las Islas. Chuwe’s Esa Nena and Lucasmb’s Like A Freak heighten the energy, with Carlos Agraz’s Prendeh and Diego Sosa’s Latino leaning into Latin-inspired grooves.

Sebastian Ledher & Billy Sherif’s El Cairo and Lomiiel’s Hay Lupita showcase hypnotic tech house cuts, paving the way for Latin Tech fusions like Pasto Y Perico and Aguardiente. River Ocean’s Love & Happiness featuring India provides an Afro-Latin flourish, closing Nocturne’s hour with soulful resonance.

Dylan Serna and SeaBass take over with Crewcutz’s Bongo Lessons, steering into minimal deep tech before Jairo Delli, Harvy Valencia, and Angel Heredia deliver peak-time tech house. Collaborations like Dominicana and Pikante highlight Latin Tech and minimal innovation, while Jungle Jack & Gameroloco’s Que Será closes the episode with vibrant Latin-inspired rhythms, uniting tech house, deep house, afro house, and minimal styles into a cohesive showcase.

Join the live broadcast of the show on Saturday, September 12th, from 4 PM to 6 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you miss it, you can listen again on Wednesday from 4 AM to 6 AM (ICT).
