Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns this Saturday on Scientific Sound Asia, hosted by DJ Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz. This week’s episode opens with a set from Nocturne before passing the decks to San Diego-based DJ and producer Saarias, who delivers a guest mix filled with groove, rhythm, and uplifting house energy.
Nocturne, originally from Los Angeles, began his DJ career in 2007 performing as DJ Turiz, moving fluidly between reggaeton, hip hop, and Latin genres such as bachata, merengue, salsa, and cumbia. His dynamic energy and versatility quickly earned him recognition across Southern California’s nightlife, where he became known for reading the crowd and keeping the dancefloor alive.
In 2013, he shifted his focus to electronic music, co-founding Digital Audio Kingz with DJ MORE and gaining regular FM radio airtime. By 2018, he rebranded as Nocturne and launched Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a house and dance mix series that has since become a globally syndicated show through the CHNR Syndication Network.
Now based in San Diego while maintaining strong ties to Los Angeles, Nocturne continues to expand his creative scope through projects such as On the Deep End, which explores deep, progressive, and melodic house and techno, alongside his Deep House Sessions under DAK Music. His work reflects an ongoing mission to share the warmth and unity of house music with audiences around the world.
With Nocturne’s refined sound and Saarias bringing his distinctive house style to the mix, this week’s Cali’s HouseNation Radio promises a vibrant journey through the many layers of modern house music.

Guest DJ Saarias.
Born in San José, Costa Rica and now based in San Diego, California, Saarias has been captivating audiences for the past four years with his heartfelt approach to electronic music. Specialising in house, tech house, deep house, melodic house, and progressive house, his sound is influenced by pioneers such as Louie Vega, Frankie Knuckles, Kerri Chandler, Hot Since 82, Jesse Saunders, Carl Cox, and Paco Osuna.
His journey began in childhood when the sounds of disco, especially Tarzan Boy by Baltimora, ignited a lifelong passion for music. For Saarias, music is more than rhythm; it is the universal language of the soul. Each mix, track, and performance serves as both an expression of his own emotions and an invitation for listeners to share in that connection through sound and feeling.
In recent years, he has become an active figure in the San Diego house scene, performing at local venues such as Salud Lounge and LA Collective, while also making radio appearances on Energy 102 and Cali’s HouseNation. His reputation has grown through immersive sets that combine groove, emotion, and timeless energy, resonating with both casual listeners and dedicated house music fans.
He has also performed at events and venues including Tranceformity, Darkroom, Guest House Rialto, Ascension, MadGallery LA, and LAV8TION. Beyond performing, Saarias continues to refine his craft, currently studying music production with the goal of creating and releasing music that transcends boundaries and unites people on the dance floor.
Active on social media, he has become known for his “pure house vibes” and passionate approach to DJing. While his discography is still developing, his growing presence on the California club circuit and international shows in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Europe marks him as one of the new talents to watch in the global house scene.
DJ Nocturne opens Cali’s HouseNation Radio 295 with an energetic first hour that bridges soulful House and driving Tech House rhythms. Tracks like Take You There by Roland Clark, Ridney & Capri and Joe Smooth’s reimagined classic Promised Land capture the essence of uplifting club energy. Dennis Ferrer’s Affirmations and DJ Tennis & Eliza Rose’s Playa Paradiso bring rich, vocal-driven emotion before the tempo rises with Matroda’s House x Pressure and Jamie Jones’ Where All My People, setting the dancefloor alight.
The first hour flows through radiant melodies and powerful grooves, with highlights from DJ Spen, RUZE & Chesster and James Hurr’s Gira Il Mondo adding a polished, modern edge. Oliver Heldens and Becky Hill close Nocturne’s segment with Gecko (Overdrive), blending future house with the euphoria of late-night club sound.
Saarias takes over for the second hour, steering the mix into deeper, more refined terrain. Tracks such as Ninetree’s Straight Through and Altor Astiz’s Do You Like Bass showcase the crisp textures of minimal and deep tech, while Hector Couto’s Así and Angel Heredia’s Love Drums reintroduce lively tech house momentum.
The set’s closing stretch keeps its hypnotic pulse alive with Toman’s Aftercito and Micah Baxter’s Forget The Girl, merging minimal precision with smooth house undertones. Episode 295 captures Cali’s HouseNation Radio’s signature sound, an evolving blend of House, Tech House, and Deep Tech that celebrates both rhythm and sophistication.
Join the live broadcast of the show on Saturday, November 1st, from 4 PM to 6 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you miss the live airing, you can tune in again on Wednesday from 4 AM to 6 AM (ICT).
