Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns this week on Scientific Sound Asia Radio, hosted by DJ Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz. The broadcast begins with Nocturne before the second hour is handed over to guest DJ Rebecca.
Originally from Los Angeles, Nocturne began his DJ career in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz. During this period he performed across a range of Latin and urban styles including reggaeton, hip hop, bachata, merengue, salsa and cumbia. His versatility and natural ability to read the dancefloor quickly helped him establish a reputation across the Southern California club scene.
In 2013 he shifted his focus toward electronic music, marking a new phase in his career. Around this time he co-founded Digital Audio Kingz alongside DJ MORE and became a regular contributor to FM radio. By 2018 he adopted the Nocturne alias and launched Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a programme centred on house music that has since developed into a syndicated series through the CHNR Syndication Network.
Now based in San Diego while maintaining strong connections to Los Angeles, Nocturne continues to evolve his sound through projects such as On the Deep End, which explores deeper progressive and melodic styles, alongside Deep House Sessions under the DAK Music banner. His musical direction remains focused on groove, emotion and the shared energy that lies at the heart of house music culture.
For this edition of Cali’s HouseNation Radio, Nocturne leads the opening hour before handing over to guest DJ Rebecca, bringing together two distinct perspectives on contemporary house music for listeners on Scientific Sound Asia.

Guest DJ Rebecca.
DJ Rebecca is a Chicago native with more than three decades of experience shaped by the Midwest rave and underground dance music movement of the early 1990s. Emerging from the vibrant Chicago club scene, her sound reflects the city’s deep musical heritage, blending classic disco, dancefloor favourites and the unmistakable groove of Chicago house.
Her DJ sets move fluidly between styles, often beginning with soulful disco or classic dance selections before building into deeper and more driving house rhythms. This approach reflects both her broad musical knowledge and her long-standing connection to club culture, creating sets that balance energy, groove and atmosphere.
Rebecca’s musical foundation was further strengthened during her time working at Chicago’s renowned Gramaphone Records, one of the city’s most respected record shops and a key institution within the global house music community. Surrounded by DJs, producers and collectors, she developed an extensive vinyl collection and a deep understanding of the evolving sounds of underground dance music.
Alongside her DJ career, Rebecca has also explored production and vocal work. She has contributed vocals to releases on Fresca Recordings and collaborated with producer Antonio Caballero on material released through Panama Red Records, adding another creative dimension to her musical output.
Today she continues to remain active within the international electronic music community. Rebecca co-hosts a long-running online show on Sugar Shack Radio every third Sunday, where she presents a carefully curated selection of house and dance music while featuring guest appearances from both local and international DJs and artists.
Through decades of dedication to the craft of DJing and a lifelong connection to Chicago’s house music legacy, DJ Rebecca continues to share her passion for underground dance music with audiences around the world.
The first hour with Nocturne begins with a steady run of groove-driven House selections. Lift, Give It All and The Penguin establish a warm club rhythm before Velvet Avenue and Innervision continue the rolling basslines and crisp percussion. Get Lit, Mi Alma and Bamboleo maintain the house momentum, blending classic dancefloor energy with subtle Latin-influenced rhythm.
The mix tightens into Tech House territory through Back In The A and Champagne, before the groove intensifies with Freaks. Latin-infused Tech House arrives with D.C.D and Pekin, while Latinos and Planet Soul keep the percussion-driven flow moving forward. The Don Diablo and CID remix of Make Me Feel Better closes the first hour with a brighter Future House lift.
DJ Rebecca opens the second hour with a Soulful House tone as Rise introduces warm vocal House textures. Holdin On adds Jackin swing before Vida Boa, Kalakuta and Bombom expand the mix into Afro House rhythms built around percussion and groove.
The final section widens stylistically. Smalltown Boy brings Nu Disco colour before Don Dadda returns to a Tech House pulse. NuYork Gritty introduces a brief bass-driven breakbeat influence before the set settles again through Jazz Was Dancing and the David Morales remix of Shout. The closing track Free (You Got To Live) finishes episode 310 with uplifting Afro House energy, rounding out a diverse club-focused session.
Watch the live broadcast of the show on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, between 4 PM and 6 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you miss the live airing, a replay will be available on Wednesday from 4 AM to 6 AM (ICT).
