Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns with a new edition hosted by Nocturne on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, while also publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.

Originally from Los Angeles, Nocturne began his DJ career in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz. During these early years, he worked across a variety of Latin and urban genres, including reggaeton, hip hop, bachata, merengue, salsa and cumbia, building a reputation for adaptability and strong crowd connection throughout the Southern California club scene.

In 2013, he shifted his focus towards electronic music, beginning a new chapter that would shape his current musical direction. Around this period, he co-founded Digital Audio Kingz alongside DJ MORE and expanded into FM radio, broadening his presence beyond traditional club environments.

By 2018, he introduced the Nocturne alias and launched Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a house music-focused radio programme that later evolved into a syndicated series through the CHNR Syndication Network. The show centres on groove-driven selections while reflecting the ongoing evolution of contemporary house music culture.

Now based in San Diego while remaining closely connected to Los Angeles, Nocturne continues refining his sound through projects such as On the Deep End, which explores progressive and melodic influences, alongside Deep House Sessions under the DAK Music banner. His musical approach remains rooted in rhythm, atmosphere and emotional connection, staying true to the core foundations of house music culture.

For this edition, Nocturne is joined by guest DJ Jrod Indamixx. The California-based DJ brings more than four decades of experience across clubs, radio and live events, combining House, Latin House, EDM and Old School influences into an energetic and groove-focused style. His sets balance rhythmic basslines, vocal elements and dancefloor energy, adding a distinctive and complementary dynamic to the broadcast.

Jrod Indamixx is a veteran DJ based in Stanton, California, with more than four decades of experience across clubs, concerts, radio and private events. Originally developing his skills during the early era of analogue DJ culture, he learned to mix using 8-track players, tape decks and early Realistic Radio Shack mixers before later transitioning onto Technics 1200 turntables as his career evolved.

Raised within Southern California’s diverse music culture, his sound developed through a wide range of styles including Hard House, Latin House, EDM, Old School and broader Latin genres. This open-format approach remains central to his identity as a DJ, allowing him to adapt across club environments, radio broadcasts and live events while maintaining a strong focus on groove, crowd connection and energy.

Over the years, Jrod Indamixx has performed across bars, concerts, clubs and private functions throughout California while also remaining active within online radio culture. His more recent appearances with Cali’s HouseNation Radio and Fusion Radio continue to reflect his connection to underground and community-driven DJ culture.

With decades of experience behind the decks, his approach remains rooted in versatility, technical consistency and a long-standing passion for music culture that continues evolving alongside modern DJ technology and contemporary dance music scenes.

Nocturne opens the first hour with MA:RK’s Glow and Francois Dubois’ Blood, immediately establishing a smooth Deep House atmosphere. Adonias and Sidney Charles continue the groove through Funk It! and Take It Back (To The Old School), bringing classic House influences into the mix. Simon Doty’s Relic maintains the deeper direction with a warm rolling rhythm.

Dusky shifts the energy slightly with Percy Veering, moving toward a more driving House sound. Chez Damier, alongside Rami and Manu Dadamo, follow with Can You Feel It, adding classic underground House textures rooted in Chicago influences. Barut and Crystal Fighters with Claptone continue the uplifting flow through Espera and Turn Up The Love.

The first hour becomes more groove-focused through Shirali’s The Kid Is Back and Franky Rizardo with Carston’s More To Life. Marc Monton, Löök and Tokyo T, alongside Mōiqe, introduce Tech House and Latin-infused rhythms before Italobros’ Kaos adds another energetic club moment. Frankie Knuckles closes the first half with the timeless The Whistle Song, bringing the mix back to classic House foundations.

DJ Jrod Indamixx takes over the second hour with Chic Dance’s Jhojho and Nick Curly’s Joystick, immediately leaning into Jackin House territory. Patrick Wayne’s Luccio 4, 21 Years and Florian Kruse with Mat.Joe’s La Casita continue the groove-led direction, while Eric Prydz’s Slammin’ introduces a more driving House atmosphere.

The middle of the second hour blends Funky House and Jackin House through Agent Stereo’s Justice Has No Price, Ordonez with Pop House Brothers’ In The End, and Patrick Wayne with DJ THREEJAY and DJ Flipside’s Want Your Body. Serial Thrilla and Demarkus Lewis add Disco influences through Everybody Dance and Freak With Me, keeping the set upbeat and club-focused.

The closing section continues through Paco Caniza’s Funk You Up, Adri Block’s The Nightlife, and Kenny Max Esposito’s Lose Your Love, all rooted in groove-heavy House rhythms. Angel Moraes and Patrick Vince Melo maintain the Chicago-inspired feel before Edson Agiss’ The Funkiest adds a final Disco-driven moment. Angelo Ferreri rounds off the session with Oh Honey, closing the episode with a smooth Deep House finish.

Tune in to the show’s live broadcast on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, between 4 PM and 6 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you are unable to catch it live, a replay will be accessible on Wednesday from 4 AM to 6 AM (ICT).
