Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns this Saturday on Scientific Sound Asia, hosted by DJ Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz. This week’s broadcast opens with a signature set from Nocturne before handing over to guest DJ Gomas, who delivers a vibrant mix shaped by groove, rhythm, and uplifting house sensibilities.
Nocturne, originally from Los Angeles, began his career in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz, performing across reggaeton, hip hop, and Latin styles, including bachata, merengue, salsa, and cumbia. His versatility and high-energy approach quickly made him a recognised figure in the Southern California club circuit, where he developed a reputation for reading the room and driving the dancefloor with precision.
His move into electronic music in 2013 marked a major shift, leading him to co-found Digital Audio Kingz with DJ MORE and secure regular FM radio features. By 2018, he evolved into his current moniker, Nocturne, and launched Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a house and dance mix series that has since become a globally syndicated programme through the CHNR Syndication Network.
Now based in San Diego while staying closely connected to Los Angeles, Nocturne continues to expand his artistic reach through projects such as On the Deep End, which explores deep, progressive, and melodic shades of house and techno, alongside his Deep House Sessions under the DAK Music banner. His work remains focused on sharing the emotion and unity at the heart of house music.
With Nocturne’s polished selection and Gomas’ uplifting and groove-driven style, this week’s edition of Cali’s HouseNation Radio offers a dynamic and engaging journey through contemporary house music.

Guest DJ Gomas.
DJ Gomas, also known as Socrates Gomas, is a Minneapolis-based DJ and producer recognised for his deep, soulful and rhythm-driven approach to house music. His journey has taken him through many corners of electronic music, from open-format club sets to underground dance events, always returning to the pulse and groove that define his style.
Active in his home city, he performs regularly at venues such as Conga Latin and appears at various local showcases, including events hosted by Electric Events. His sets blend warmth, movement and uplifting energy, shaped by years of experience behind the decks.
As a producer, DJ Gomas continues to develop his sound in the studio while remaining dedicated to the dance floor. With a strong connection to his community and consistent presence in Minneapolis’ nightlife, he brings both passion and authenticity to every performance.
The episode opens with DJ Nocturne guiding the first hour through uplifting House textures, moving from warm vocal-led rhythms into crisp drums and bright percussive layers. The mix flows effortlessly between classic influences and newer dancefloor ideas, picking up pace as the session shifts into lively grooves with broader tonal accents.
As the hour progresses, the energy builds with a blend of House and Tech House, weaving in playful synth lines and strong club-ready drops. Nocturne’s selection balances melodic charm and rhythmic weight, touching on Latin-inspired elements and polished modern production. A progressive lift toward the end brings a sense of momentum before closing on a more emotional high.
The second hour sees DJ Gomas step in with a refined House direction, pushing soulful undertones and punchy drum work. This segment introduces deeper grooves and expressive hooks, easing into smooth transitions between understated club rhythms and richer melodic patterns. Funky House textures appear throughout, adding bounce and warmth to the set.
The episode concludes with a bold Tech House run, lifting the tempo and pushing stronger dancefloor momentum. Gomas blends rolling basslines, sharp vocal elements and vibrant percussion to close out the session with clear club energy. The flow between both DJs highlights why Cali’s HouseNation Radio continues to offer some of the finest House and Tech House programming on the station.
Join the live broadcast of the show on Saturday, December 6th, from 4 PM to 6 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you miss the live airing, you can tune in again on Wednesday from 4 AM to 6 AM (ICT).
