Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns with another edition hosted by Nocturne on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news outlet, connecting audiences across the region and internationally.

Originally from Los Angeles, Nocturne began DJing in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz. His early sets covered reggaeton, hip hop, bachata, merengue, salsa and cumbia, giving him a broad musical foundation and a strong understanding of club audiences across Southern California.

His attention shifted towards electronic music in 2013 as he explored House and deeper underground styles. During this period, he co-founded Digital Audio Kingz with DJ MORE and expanded into FM radio, creating further opportunities to share his selections with a wider audience.

The Nocturne project launched in 2018 alongside Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a programme dedicated to the many forms of House music. The show later developed into an internationally syndicated series through the CHNR Syndication Network, extending its reach beyond its original local audience.

Now based in San Diego, Nocturne also presents On the Deep End and Deep House Sessions under the DAK Music banner. These projects explore deeper Progressive House and melodic material while placing rhythm, atmosphere and coherent programming at the centre of each broadcast.

Through Cali’s HouseNation Radio, Nocturne presents established names alongside emerging artists from across the House music scene. Each episode draws on his background in club culture, radio and underground electronic music, offering listeners a varied selection shaped by experience and close attention to musical flow.

Italian DJ and producer DJ EM performs behind the decks while wearing headphones, representing her work across Melodic House, Latin House, Funky House, Bass House, Tech House, Afro House and Techno.

Nocturne opens with Kry (IT)’s All I Think, Ryan Truman’s Everybody (Be Loved), Toy Saint Pons’ But You Know What and Animist’s Lil Bit, setting a firm Jackin House foundation. AFAIN’s Forest Sunset moves the hour into House Music before CASSIMM and LEFTI, Obando and Matheo Velez, and PAPA! (AU) widen the first half with vocal hooks, rolling grooves and a brief Progressive House shift.

Danny Quest and Takes Two then lead into a Tech House run, with Raized and Ciclo, Nonô and Sofi Tukker, Deophonik and Handek, and David Tort and Juany Bravo tightening the rhythm before Stardust closes Nocturne’s hour with Music Sounds Better With You. DJ Em opens the second hour with Trace, Skream and Jackmaster, and Dubdogz with DLMT, keeping the early section inside Tech House.

Sharam’s PATT (Party All The Time) in the Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani and Green Velvet remix then moves the set into a larger mainstage sound before Diego Miranda, Jean Marie and Cirillo Jr add a Dance-focused vocal cut through I Believe. Anyma’s Running with Meg Myers introduces Melodic Techno, followed by Tony De Vit’s The Dawn in the Fergie Extended Remix, which brings Peak Time Techno pressure into the middle of the second hour.

Massano’s The Feeling and Pete K’s Someone That I Used To Know then move the programme into Melodic House and Techno with a more dramatic and vocal-led sound. Thomas Deil, Jean Marie, Danny Ores and Rebetz change the pace with One For The Rave, introducing a Hard Dance, Hardcore and Neo Rave entry.

DJ Em and Gianni Vella’s Move Your Body follows with an Electronica passage before CASSIMM and Mahalia Fontaine return the set to House through The Speech. Camiel Daamen and Arie’s Up All Night reduces the rhythm into Minimal / Deep Tech, giving the closing section a deeper club shape.

Tiësto’s Lay Low in the Argy remix then returns to Melodic House and Techno before FREAK ON’s Let The Music Play closes the second hour with a Dance finish. The episode balances Nocturne’s Jackin House, House and Tech House first hour with DJ Em’s broader second-hour selection. Its second half moves through Tech House, Dance, Melodic House and Techno, Peak Time Techno, Electronica and Minimal / Deep Tech while keeping the programme centred on club-focused House music.

Tune in to the show's live broadcast on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you can't catch it live, a replay will be offered on Wednesday from 4 AM to 6 AM (ICT).
