Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns this week on Scientific Sound Asia, hosted by DJ Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz. The broadcast opens with Nocturne before handing over the second hour to guest DJ Boy Luca.
Originally from Los Angeles, Nocturne began his DJ journey in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz, performing across reggaeton, hip hop and a broad spectrum of Latin styles including bachata, merengue, salsa and cumbia. His versatility and natural ability to read the dancefloor quickly earned him recognition throughout the Southern California club circuit.
A move into electronic music in 2013 marked a defining shift in his career. He co-founded Digital Audio Kingz alongside DJ MORE and became a regular voice on FM radio. By 2018, he adopted the Nocturne alias and launched Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a house-driven programme that has since grown into a globally syndicated series through the CHNR Syndication Network.
Now based in San Diego while maintaining strong ties to Los Angeles, Nocturne continues to expand his sound through projects such as On the Deep End, which explores deeper progressive and melodic directions, alongside Deep House Sessions under the DAK Music banner. His selections remain rooted in groove, emotion and the communal spirit at the heart of house music culture.
With Nocturne setting the pace in the opening hour and DJ Boy Luca guiding the closing stretch, this edition of Cali’s HouseNation Radio delivers a cohesive and energetic journey through contemporary house music on Scientific Sound Asia.

DJ Boy Luca was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and has been active behind the decks since 2012. Over the years, he has developed a versatile and club-focused style, blending a wide spectrum of house music rooted in groove, rhythm and dancefloor energy.
His selections move fluidly across House, Deep House, Tech House, Deep Tech, Latin Tech House, Latin House, Jackin House, Funky House, Melodic House, Afro House, Mainstage and Nu Disco, allowing him to adapt seamlessly to different crowds and environments while maintaining a strong underground sensibility.
Alongside his club work, DJ Boy Luca is a regular presence on several online radio platforms, including Soul Jack Digital, HousWerx and CHNR, where he hosts The Friday Night Boogie, delivering upbeat, groove-driven sessions that reflect his broad musical range and love for house culture.
Consistent, adaptable and deeply connected to dancefloor traditions, DJ Boy Luca continues to refine his sound through radio and live performance, bridging classic house influences with contemporary club energy.
The first hour with Nocturne leans into modern House and Dance Music, opening with smooth vocal-led cuts before settling into a steady House groove. Deep House moments appear early on, giving the mix a clean foundation before the rhythm tightens.
As the hour progresses, Bass House selections bring sharper low-end movement, followed by a clear shift into Tech House. These tracks introduce firmer percussion and club-focused arrangements, maintaining consistency without changing the overall direction of the set.
DJ Boy Luca’s second hour begins in Deep House territory, favouring stripped-back rhythms and classic influences. These selections reference earlier House traditions while keeping the pacing controlled and functional.
The closing section moves through Classic House, Jackin House and Funky House. The set finishes with straightforward House tracks that reinforce the episode’s core focus, rounding out a two-hour mix built around House music in its various forms.
