Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns this Saturday on Scientific Sound Asia, hosted by DJ Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz. This edition features an opening set from Nocturne, followed by a guest mix from Andre, delivering fresh grooves and vibrant house energy.
Nocturne, originally from Los Angeles, began his career in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz. He made his mark on the Southern California club circuit with dynamic sets that blended Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, and Latin sounds such as Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, and Cumbia. His versatility and energy behind the decks quickly gained recognition across the region.
In 2013, he shifted focus towards electronic music, teaming up with DJ MORE to form Digital Audio Kingz and securing appearances on FM radio. By 2018, he rebranded as Nocturne and launched Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a house and dance mix show that has since expanded into a globally syndicated platform through the CHNR Syndication Network.
Now based in San Diego while keeping close ties to Los Angeles, Nocturne continues to evolve his sound with projects such as On the Deep End, dedicated to Deep, Progressive, and Melodic House and Techno, along with his Deep House Sessions. Distributed through DAK Music, his mission remains clear: to share the spirit and energy of house music with audiences worldwide.

Guest DJs Andre.
This week’s guest on Cali’s HouseNation Radio is Andre, who brings over 16 years of experience behind the decks, representing California’s Inland Empire with a sound firmly rooted in house music. His journey began in dubstep and drum & bass before evolving into a love for deep, groove-driven house.
Specialising in deep house and Chicago house, his sets weave jackin’ beats, disco-infused rhythms, minimal textures, and flashes of UK garage. Influenced by the likes of DJ Sneak, DJ Steaw, Black Loops, Chris Stussy, Demuir, and ANOTR, Andre’s style balances classic roots with modern flair.
From Riverside to Los Angeles and beyond, he has performed at venues across Southern California, always delivering an underground sound that is funky, fluid, and aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Dedicated to both his craft and the crowd, Andre continues to push a pure and authentic house experience.
The first hour opens with DJ Nocturne delivering a seamless sequence of deep house tracks, including OMRI.’s Nothing Wrong and D’Julz’s Nu Bass in a DJ Deep remix. This mood continues with LR & PTTY’s Sleepy and Marsolo’s What You Say, balancing smooth grooves with rhythmic drive. Hidde van Wee’s Aspire To Inspire adds melodic depth before Trees of Tampa’s Danssang remix by Theus Mago shifts the set into house energy.
Nocturne builds momentum with Clint & Demi RiquÃsimo’s Love State and Retrouve’s Feel So Right, layering soulful house textures. Tiger Stripes’ Rockin’ and Fickry’s Holy Clap intensify the flow, while Eachother’s U Want This signals a turn toward tech house. BeYou (ES) with Cotton Club and Angel Heredia & Javi Galan’s Feel Good adds chunky, rolling rhythms, with DJ Dep and Jack Baron closing his set with peak-time tech house power.
Andre takes over in the second hour with a deeper, underground vibe. Starting with Martin Depp’s Majestic Gruve and Freestyle Man’s Blue Skies, the mood is set in lush, deep house. Demuir dominates the hour, moving fluidly through house and deep house cuts like The Ghetto Mind and Stand Up (Your Life). Funky house appears on Don’t Truss That DJ, and the tech house edge comes through on Alrite and Power To The People, cementing Andre’s versatile selection.
The closing section highlights Demuir’s playful side with I Don’t Fk Wit U and Stompin’ At Salon Daome, bringing jackin' house flavour. Mike Delgado’s The Murder Track injects a classic garage house moment, while DJ Rasoul’s Let Me Love You ends the mix on a smooth, deep house note. Together, Nocturne and Andre balance deep house, house, and tech house foundations with stylistic touches that keep Cali’s HouseNation Radio Episode 289 diverse and vibrant.
Join the live broadcast of the show on Saturday, September 20th, from 4 PM to 6 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you miss it, you can listen again on Wednesday from 4 AM to 6 AM (ICT).
