Marco Mei has unveiled his playlist for his upcoming show this Saturday. Scientific Sound Asia serves as the premier English-language electronic music station and DJ agency catering to China, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, and the wider region.
Marco is an Italian DJ and producer with more than two decades of experience. He was immersed in Afrobeat during his formative years, and with the emergence of electronic music, he embarked on his DJ career in the 1990s.
Throughout two and a half decades, Marco has showcased his skills as a disc jockey at stunning festivals and nightclubs worldwide. He has graced the turntables alongside esteemed international DJs including Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Justin Berkmann, and Funk D’Void.
During the early years of the millennium, Marco secured a residency at the Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh. He embarked on a journey around the globe, performing as a DJ and artist at a diverse range of underground nightclubs, including Arcan (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), Room 18 (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), SOS Supper Club (Bali), and NLO (Minsk).
In collaboration with Stefano Ugliano, Marco formed the ensemble known as Bicycle Corporation. They have released over 50 tracks and remixes that have been embraced by numerous international talents.
Presently, Marco resides in Taiwan, where he consistently demonstrates his DJ skills with remarkable proficiency. This has facilitated his inclusion among the expanding community of globally acclaimed DJs and producers featured on Scientific Sound Asia Radio.
