Marco Mei Publishes Playlist For 2021 Podcast 47.

Marco Mei of Bicycle Corporation has shared the playlist for his upcoming show on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, while also publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.

Originally from Italy, Marco Mei brings more than thirty years of experience as a DJ and producer. His early influences were rooted in Afrobeat and synthesised music, shaping his direction before he began DJing professionally in the early 1990s.

As his career developed, he secured a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm el-Sheikh. This led to international touring, performing at venues such as Woo Bar, Fuse in Brussels, Room 18 in Taipei, Bangaluu in Berlin, G-Star in Pattaya, SOS Supper Club in Bali and NLO in Minsk alongside artists including Roger Sanchez, David Morales and Funk D’Void.

In 2009, he formed Bicycle Corporation with Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. The project combined their experience in DJing and production, creating a catalogue rooted in house and techno.

Their first signing came via 17:44, followed by releases on labels including Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, GrooveTraxx, Suka and Revox. Since then, they have released more than fifty tracks and remixes across Deep House, Tech House, French House and Techno, including a Hard Techno remix of Origination by Virus D.D.D.

Now based in Taipei, Marco Mei continues to perform regularly across Asia. His presence in the region connects him with a growing network of artists within the Southeast Asian electronic music scene.

His weekly show features a broad selection including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica and Techno. He is available for bookings through the Scientific Sound Asia DJ agency.

Marco Mei Podcast 47 opens with Party Children and Sugar Widow, setting a groove-led House foundation before Hot and Sendero Interno in the Do Or Die remix introduce a more driving Tech House direction. The Harry Romero remix of Everybody Needs A 303 adds an acid touch, while Good Life in the 2021 Tech House remix keeps the early energy focused on club-ready rhythms.

The mix develops through Kouka, Stick It Out and Italo Rave, blending House and Tech House with a raw, warehouse feel. Attention Seeker and Talk Talk continue this direction, while the Fedele remix of Enjoy The Silence and the David Guetta remix of Domino introduce a more melodic and crossover edge without losing momentum.

A shift towards heavier textures comes with Belfast in the ANNA remix and Mirror Games, bringing peak time Techno into the mix. Boris Brejcha’s Never Stop Dancing and Dystopia in the Musumeci and Dodi Palese remix maintain this driving energy, while Flashes On The Floor and Running add depth with more melodic and disco-influenced elements.

The closing section moves through Queen, Gloria and Deception, returning to a groove-focused House direction before Love Can't Turn Around introduces a classic vocal moment. What Would You Do and Shades Of Love round off the session with soulful and disco-driven influences, delivering a balanced mix of House Music, Tech House and Techno with strong club energy throughout.
