Marco Mei of the Italian duo Bicycle Corporation has announced his next show’s tracklist. Scientific Sound Asia serves as the leading electronic music station, DJ agency, and promoter across Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka, and globally.
Marco Mei, originally from Turin, Italy, has been a DJ for over thirty years. His early musical explorations were shaped by Afrocentric music and the evolving electronic music scene.
Starting with crate digging in Turin’s record shops and performing at early rave events, Marco, along with his associates, began organising events under the Urban People banner, contributing significantly to Italy’s burgeoning music scene.
After a decade of event promotion, Marco secured a residency at Pacha in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt, where he gained notable recognition. This opportunity led to global tours and performances alongside renowned artists such as David Morales, Justin Berkman, Roger Sanchez, and others.
Following his residency, Marco collaborated with Stefano Ugliano (6884) to form Bicycle Corporation. Their collaborative work has resulted in over fifty original tracks and remixes, with releases through labels like 17:44 Records, Suka, Alchemy, and WL77 Groove Traxx. Their music spans genres including Deep House, Tech House, French House, and Techno.
Currently based in Taipei, Taiwan, Marco has been a staple in the city’s nightlife since his relocation in 2010. Prior to the lockdown, he frequently toured Asia and Eastern Europe, performing at various clubs and venues, including regular appearances at Roots Taipei with Murphy Kin.
Marco’s weekly show showcases a broad range of genres, including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for international bookings through our DJ agency for Asian-based artists.
