Marco Mei has made public his playlist for his show this Saturday the 8th of August 2020 from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and re-airing Wednesday from 6 to 8 AM (ICT). Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station for India, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka and the rest of the region.
Marco is a DJ and producer hailing from Italy with nearly three decades of experience. In his early teens, Marco became mesmerised by Afrobeat, Reggae, Funk, Disco and the early Hip Hop music and with the birth of electronic music.
Roll on a few years and in the early nineties' he set off on his career as a Disc Jockey. In his developmental years as a disc jockey he performed up and down the length Italy, his continual performances saw Marco practising his skills at a multitude of festivals and clubs globally sharing the wheels of steel with heavyweights such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg.
At the beginning of the 2000s, he gained a residency in Sharm-El-Sheikh at Pacha Club and as 'his popularity grew set off across the globe spinning at some truly well-known Nightclubs across the planet including OBS (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), CE' LA VI (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), Woobar (Bali), Global Dance Moscow and a good deal of others.
Then with a friend Stefano Ugliano (aka 6884) a production duo was started in 2009 and Bicycle Corporation was born, their combined skills in the studio led to a great number of releases and since their formation over 50 tracks and remixes have been released and have been well received in the House Music circuit.
These days Marco resides in Taipei, Taiwan where he migrated in 2010, playing regular events over the urban sprawl of the capital. Marco before the lockdown travelled extensively over the Asian and eastern European region performing at clubs and venues on a regular basis and is a regular artist on our radio station.
His weekly show features a broad selection of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for international bookings through our DJ Agency.
