Ukrainian duo Istar Project to start new show.

Scientific Sound Asia is proud to welcome Istar Project as the featured guests on a special edition of our global electronic music broadcast. Scientific Sound Asia is a DJ agency, promoter, and radio station serving the region with an international following.

Based in Kyiv, Ukraine, Istar Project is the collaborative effort of Jan Dee and Serhii Dzus, an accomplished duo known for crafting emotionally rich and cinematic electronic music. Their style blends Progressive Trance, Progressive House, and Melodic Techno into a signature sound that speaks directly to the heart while remaining deeply rooted in the dancefloor experience.

Emerging from the vibrant Ukrainian scene, Istar Project has come to represent a bold new wave in Eastern European electronic music. Since their formation, they have gained increasing international attention, with their productions supported by major global DJs and labels.

Their emotionally layered tracks are built around storytelling, using melody and harmony to evoke introspection, energy, and movement. This summer marks a pivotal chapter in their artistic evolution, as the duo presents an exclusive guest mix for Scientific Sound Asia.

The mix offers a powerful expression of their current musical identity, combining unreleased original productions with a carefully curated selection of forward-thinking Progressive and Melodic tracks from leading artists. It promises a dynamic journey through sound, capturing both the intimacy and expansiveness of their style.

Istar Project's discography includes releases on some of the most respected labels in the scene, such as SIRUP Music, Black Hole Recordings, PURE Trance, Alter Ego Records, Redux Recordings, and others. These affiliations speak to their consistent quality and the global resonance of their music.

Their achievements extend beyond studio releases. Istar Project created the official anthem for Ukraine’s renowned radio station Kiss FM, and their tracks have earned Top 4 status on the national dance charts.

As they continue to evolve and refine their sound, Istar Project stands as a shining example of artistry, resilience, and creative ambition within Ukraine’s thriving electronic music community. This exclusive mix not only captures their musical journey so far but also offers a glimpse into what lies ahead.

Episode 1 by Istar Project opens with Aurora and Atlantis, establishing a lush and melodic atmosphere through Progressive House and Melodic Techno textures. These opening selections are rich in detail and set the tone for a session focused on emotional progression and sonic clarity.

The mix builds with Elements, After The Rain, and Dreamlines, showcasing Istar Project’s distinct take on Progressive House. Oceanium and Celeste then introduce deeper Melodic House & Techno elements, grounding the journey before shifting into Trance.

From here, the tempo rises with Progressive Trance bootlegs of Collective by RNX and Propulsion by Farius, followed by original Trance productions like Secrets featuring Annah Marcelle, and Wind Of Love. These tracks amplify the energy and emotional intensity of the set.

The final stretch delivers high-impact Trance and Dance tracks including Soul Of Summer, AIRA, and the euphoric Endless Horizon. Patagonia and the preview of two untitled promos conclude the session, affirming Istar Project’s expansive musical vision and cohesive production style.
