Igor Hush has published the tracklist for episode 15 of Immersion on Scientific Sound Asia, broadcast on Thursday the 24th of December. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.
Igor Hush, whose real name is Igor Romanchuk, is a DJ from Chervyen in Belarus with a growing presence in Minsk's underground electronic music scene. His residency at SDJStudio in the capital sits at the centre of a broader performing schedule that takes in tech house, minimal, deep tech, Afro house and techno across a range of settings and crowds.
Summer months bring him across Minsk's venues and festivals, while winter sees him relocate to Asia for a seasonal circuit of clubs and bars in Goa, Koh Phangan and Bali. That dual existence across two very different scenes has given him versatility in reading rooms and adapting his selections accordingly.
For Igor, electronic music is as much about inner exploration as it is about dancefloor energy. His sets aim to foster a sense of connection, both between the listener and the world around them and within the individual themselves. Follow his work on Instagram and SoundCloud.
Igor Hush's Immersion 15 opens with Legroni's Zo establishing a deep and minimal tone before Wasabi's Morocco develops an Organic House and atmospheric quality. Mechanism's Adara and Innellea's Mars's Moon on DIYNAMIC carry the set into Melodic House and Techno territory before Hefemony's Breguet returns to a Minimal and Deep House direction.
Damon Jee and Darlyn Vlys's Kronos in the Wild Mix on Correspondant sustains the organic and minimal character before Betoko's Yonnx shifts into Tech House and Deep House territory. David Hasert's Der Trip and Elfenberg's Terminal 5 carry the set through Minimal and Progressive House ground before Zakir's La Roulette and Shall Ocin's Inflection develop the deeper minimal direction further.
Argia's Where Were We in the Stevie R and Parisinos Remix and Theus Mago's Jingo carry the set through Progressive House and Afro House territory before no_ip's Kyoto and SouveQ's As It Comes featuring 1403 in the Qubica Remix sustain the melodic progressive direction. Antenna!'s Algoritmo and Mulya's Espinosa carry the set forward before G Plak's Zulema and AFFKT's Bac in the SNYL Remix bring Tech House and Minimal energy.
Far&High's Overflow sustains the Progressive House direction before Da Cassino's Skream in the Dino Lenny Remix and Vakabular and Papa Layan's Lick It Back carry the set through Tech House and Afro House territory. Xandl and DJ Hepri's Vurt and Betoko's Ruun carry the set towards its close before Abrão and Vini Pistori's Louco Chama closes the episode on a warm Afro House and Deep House note.
Igor Hush's Immersion 15 is a wide-ranging episode that moves between Deep House, Progressive House, Minimal and Afro House across a tracklist that covers considerable genre ground with characteristic underground confidence.
