Bicycle Corporation is set to deliver its upcoming episode 108 of the 'Electronic Roots' show. Scientific Sound Asia serves as the premier electronic music station and DJ agency for the Asian region and beyond, catering to audiences both locally and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation comprises the Italian duo of DJ and Producer, Marco Mei, and Stefano Ugliano, who is also recognized as 6884. Marco embarked on his career journey in the early nineties, initially involved in House Music and Techno Events, notably as part of the crew 'Urban People.'
As time passed, Marco garnered increasing recognition within the music scene, solidifying his status as a sought-after talent throughout Italy. However, his journey didn't culminate there. Following his significant success in his home country, Marco began receiving international bookings, expanding his reach across the globe.
Right from his childhood, Stefano, a talented musician, displayed his potential in Torino, Italy. He devoted a significant amount of his free time to immersing himself in the world of music, demonstrating a strong passion for the arts. Besides studying classical piano, percussion, and drums, Stefano developed a profound admiration for the works of Chopin and the West African Djembe.
Amid Stefano's unwavering dedication to various genres of music, there existed a singular passion unlike any other - an irresistibly captivating allure towards the turntable maestro known as the DJ. The mesmerizing beats emanating from their domain were a rarity on the airwaves of Italian radio stations during that era.
The mere thought of producing such sounds and performing them in front of large audiences would be seen as an unattainable fantasy by most individuals. However, Stefano was undeterred by this notion and instead, he possessed a clear vision that he was determined to bring to fruition.
Through unwavering determination, laborious efforts, fortuitous encounters with Marco, and unwavering commitment, Bicycle Corporation came into existence. Having released more than 50 tracks and remixes, encompassing genres like Techno, Deep House, French House, and Tech House, the pair has achieved considerable success.
Despite their burgeoning success, Marco and Stefan maintain a grounded approach and remain connected to their humble beginnings. Recently, they've revisited some of their earlier tracks and established a Bandcamp page to distribute them. Additionally, they are featured artists on our DJ agency for Asia, further cementing their presence in the region's electronic music scene.
Their show showcases a curated selection of their top picks spanning Indie Dance, Tech House, Melodic Techno, Electro House, Afro House, and Nu-Disco genres.
